I don't mind shopping for cloths, but it's not my favorite thing to do anymore. But working with Mary is one of the great experiences ever. Professional and trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology she understands clothing and tailoring. I've ordered custom made tux, sport coat, bought shoes, shorts and a few shirts. I'm a hard athletic fit for cloths off the shelf and she understands how to make everything fit perfect. Why not support a locally owned clothing store. Do not walk to see her and the store...RUN.... thanks Mary.

Mary is joy to work with and genuinely cares about her customers. That being said her great customer service would not bring you back again if her clothing was not quality but also unique. She carries both brands you will probably be familiar with but also modern boutique designers that you won’t see at Nordstrom or Saks.

Mary was such a joy to work with! She helped my partner and I design our wedding suits and the whole process went smoothly. I appreciated Mary's feedback as we discussed ideas, and she has an eye for catching details I would have certainly missed. All in all, Mary provides an excellent service and helps you look great. I worked with Mary to custom make my suit for my wedding. It was an amazing experience and the suit came out phenomenal. Mary provided great suggestions for every small detail; buttons, colors, pockets, lining, etc... I felt amazing in the suit and I have Mary to thank for that.I absolutely recommend Mary and wouldn't hesitate to use her services again in the future.

I made an impulse buy of a db jacket because it’s royal blue, one of my favorite colors. Realized that it needed adjusting so I took it to Mary at Q Contrary - as she’s done great work tailoring other items. She adjusted it for me and I wore at a conference the following week. Next I had a pile of 5 different wool sweaters that had little holes in them and a pair of knit pants that recently got a snag in the buttocks. A week after dropping them off I picked up my beautifully repaired pieces and was so happy! The pants were new, one sweater is a casual pink cashmere v-neck, one a wool knit turtleneck with a corduroy like weave and the other a smooth Tzip that works with a lot of things. Mainly those sweaters take me skiing and apres ski. Need tailoring or weaving, she’s your gal! ( if she’ll accept the job). Thank you, Mary!!!?

Beautiful store and Awesome selection of Greyson & GFore. Mary is amazing, professional, and knows her stuff.I’m partially colorblind and she assisted with color options, styles, recommendations of some colors/cuts I was hesitant to try… all I can say is I’m happy I did.Not to mention, she can tailor whatever you need.THANK YOU, Mary. Absolutely the best store I've used. Top notch customer service from Mary. I'm never disappointed and ANYTHING that goes even slightly awry she has handled quickly and effectively. I only wish I lived closer so I could drop by in person.

Incredible custom clothing for men and women. Mary and her team are exceptional. I have designed a suit and jackets with her for my husband and the experience was delightful. I frequently purchase some of her beautifully curated menswear. In the past two years I have recommended her to several friends and every single one rave about their experience. A hidden gem in Phoenix!

Very knowledgeable woman about this area of Phoenix’s fashion sense. I only went in for tailoring of pants, but if I had the income to support her skill I would definitely like to return. Thanks! She does custom orders which is fantastic! Haven’t seen that since traveling overseas.

The store is really great, much variety which I definitely appreciate. The manager on duty was very abrasive and slightly rude. Maybe it was a bad day, but a put off none the less.
