Probably 4.5 is a more accurate rating for me, but let's round up because overall this is a very nice shop. It is small, however, so the offerings, while of good quality don't always offer a lot to choose from. Still, it's always fun to look. Prices aren't bargains, but are enticing nonetheless. The main pitfall is that closing time tends to be a moving target despite signage. I've been there more than once when whoever's running the store decides it's time to leave, they put covers on the bird cages (literally), turn out the lights, and lock-up shop.

Awesome quality goods, styled so artfully you'll think you're shopping at a high fashion boutique! Prices can't be beat and Sale Days are a must! **With all the savings why not round up to help the Rescue animals!? **

Very overpriced used and limited merchandise. The biggest drawback is the incredibly snotty manager. Could barely bother answering a question much less offer any type of welcoming helpful service If you want to support an animal shelter, shop at Foothills animal Rescue on Pinnacle Peak and Pima Road; great merchandise, helpful employees, and you know for sure the money goes to the animals.

This is a two part review: First off, this is a VERY NICE thrift store that looks more like a high end boutique. I hate to call it a thrift store, it's super clean, smells like Pier One and calm with little birds chirping away. Its truly a great place to shop and treasure hunt. All monies go to help the poor animals in the various shelters. So spend a lot of money so it will help thousands of sick animals in desperate need of urgent medical care who are often abandoned at the county shelters who are overloaded constantly.Second part: This store is about a 80 mile round trip drive for me (gas was cheaper then). The women there are polite but certainly don't go out of their way to be friendly. One woman that stands out was particularly rude and snarky to me. She watched me lug in numerous bags of items through the heavy front door. Only when I finally got it all to the counter, I hear another worker tell a customer who walked in after me, that they could just pull around back & drop things at the back door! I was so frustrated and when I asked why she didn't tell me about that option her reply was you should have asked me! Seriously?I brought them several bags of hand sewn stuffed felt hearts my elderly mother made in time for Valentine's Day. This was NOT junk! Please treat those of us who make the time and effort to bring nice donations to you as a valued customer after all most of us end up shopping the store so it's a win win for everyone. Too bad its so far away. I wish they had a store over in the east part of town. I now donate to Hospice of the Valley stores.

Not a single attempt to say “hello”. I walked into the store and was not acknowledged. They walked into the back and basically ignored me. I decided to buy one thing to contribute to a small business and waited 5 minutes for someone to even come out. She didn’t even say thank you for stopping in or have a good day, just slid my card back on the counter. Never again.

They have a lot of pretty items and nice clothes. Especially a very nice wedding dress for only $40. They have a majority of clothes, dishes, furniture and some pictures.

** November 2021 Visit ** When you enter this store it feels like a normal seasonal gift shop in the mall. The set-up is very professional looking, but has that homey cute gift shop feel. At least during my visit there were lots of Christmas decor for sale as well as misc household items. There were lots of very fancy plates/dishes for sale. There were I think a couple of racks of women's clothing and jewelry in the back. It was okay.

Visited this store for the 1st time 2day. Lovely store - lots of nice items. Enjoyed talking to the birds in the cages. I was the only customer in the store. However, not once did any associate even acknowledge me - say hello - nothing. They had to hear me talking 2 the birds so knew I was there. Obviously didn't spend my money there!
