My favorite Safeway location for many reasons they have a great butcher and meat department, but the real reason I go is for their deli and imported cheese department. They gave an enormous selection of gourmet cheeses and deli meats with a great selection of meats and cheeses like Kretschmar, Primo, and Safeway select. The deli staff is friendly and eager to help. They also have a wonderful bakery and bread selection.

I require a scooter to shop. This store has only ONE that works. I'm alone and can not hop from one scooter to another. Please repair or replace so I can continue to use Safeway.

I went over to the bakery for a birthday cake and the staff was nice and helpful. Raul helped me figure out what size and shape I wanted my cake. Also, he helped me picked out a unique design for it. His team definitely have a passion for it and I'll definitely come back to buy another cake (:

Shopping just before close on Saturday night. Specifically shopping for the advertised ground beef on sale. I searched and searched the refrigerated case only to find that there were no packages left. Butcher's counter was closed. Anthony who was cleaning up saw me looking exasperated and asked if he could help. He told me there was one package left, the one he had set aside for himself. Much to my surprise he offered it to me without hesitation. 10 stars for Anthony!!! Thank you!!! Rare to find genuine, selfless service to the public these days. Always good service from the butchers counter but Anthony went above and beyond.

Four stars for a clean store, friendly staff and delicious bakery, produce and deli food items. Deducting one star because they are usually sold out of the BBQ chicken nuggets in the deli area. Then their only options are varieties of super hot and spicy nuggets that burn going in and going out. Most people who shop there are Americans who are not used to eating habanero, jalapeno or ghost peppers at every meal. I would deduct another star for having a really bad coffee franchise in the store, but I'll balance it by saying the store manager placed them right by the restrooms! LOL

Broken English customer service representatives don't really understand my problem and they told me to call store directly...called store directly and got run around..wild goose chase and after 30-45 minutes still no resolution to my problem!!!!! Will try FrysFood from here on out or some other grocery store....FED UP

Large Safeway grocery on camelback near Arcadia in central phoenix corridor . Very clean and well staffed with all the departments expected in a Safeway/Albertsons grocery chain store . Walking in there's a very large floral and produce department. Big parking lot . N on camelback in mall with Matt's big breakfast & Molinas restaurants . My only issue was there were no shopping cart return " stalls in the s ends of parking lot if parking towards s end of large parking lot . Otherwise great store .

Pay attention to your receipt. They have consistently overcharged on items so it's a trend they can't break from. I've had to return after I've gotten home to have charges corrected, and each time they just claim ignorance.

Horrible storeI asked for 2 6 oz fillet mignonsGot two gristly end pieces and no thought of approval Asked for two lobster tails which were rotten and fishy$50 of meat which was inedible for a special occasion dinnerMy local Safeway at osborn and 7th would have asked approval for each selectionI asked for the olive bar... "we don't have one"Avoid!!!!

For starters I just want to say Chikako is absolutely amazing! Every time we come in here for a coffee I go and get a breakfast burrito from the "Signature Cafe" in Safeway. The breakfast burrito is great but the warm feeling Chikako provides to go with it is far greater. She is so kind, sincere, and just a kind person. My girlfriend and I are continuously amazed by how someone can always be so polite! THANKS FOR MAKING OUR EXPERIENCE AWESOME ALWAYS.

John is the best wine sommelier my girlfriend and I have had the pleasure of meeting. He is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and thorough in his suggestions and is a joy to engage with each time we have the luck of seeing him. He is incredibly respectful of your given price range and goes out of his way to find something to work for you, without ever looking to up-sell.
