I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. I have a Medicare Advantage plan through UHC. Recently, I went to pick up a prescription at Safeway on 7th Avenue and Osborn. I was helped by Pharmacy Tech Aiesha. She has been working at that location for many years. She has proved to be an incredibly helpful individual every time that I have encountered her. But today, when I went to collect my prescription, she informed me that the insurance price was over $200.00 for a 90 day supply. I presented a coupon from Good RX that would bring down the price to $63.00. Aiesha then told me that she had a different coupon that brought the price down to $18.00 for a 90 day supply of the medication. Sheer elation is what I would describe as the feeling I had when she helped me with the discount. She made my day, and was able to get extra groceries that I wanted but could not afford. Thanks to Aiesha for stepping up to help me. Excellent customer service!!!

Fortunate thing about the store is the customer service level is inadequate at the management level which then is mirrored by the employees when they see this non-walk the talk attitude management when you see this when a customer brings you an opportunity you thank them and apologize and handle it seamlessly don’t you say oh and then send them to the customer service to exchange a hot dog with a long line and then go tell them to grab another hotdog in which I did but before leaving the store, I did open one until I found one that was not disgusting and grotesque looking at which point I was approached by another manager, asking why I was opening all the hotdog’s this is all common courtesy but not so common in your store and if you’re just gonna make excuses and reasons why you said this and that you’re not addressing your issue, you’re not making your store any better it’s up to you is actually helping you out

Visited Safeway Pharmacy @ Osborne & 7ave today, for vaccination.
Angelica Lu, the Pharmacist, was so pleasant, informative, and helpful.
I have noticed that she treats all customers wonderfully.

The staff here has been extremely frustrating for the multiple Years of Living nearby and having to go here out of convenience.
I don't really have an issue with the main store itself or the actual pharmacist themselves. The people that work there like a woman named Bree and basically most of the pharmacist technicians or assistance or whatever are all rude and incompetent and every time I've had to go they either have an issue with my prescription and make it seem like it's a massive inconvenience for them to have to do their job by looking up my prescription or basically giving me a hard time I am going to now have to drive by this Pharmacy to go to another one due to the sheer disappointing service at the store and years of them having problems

From southern California and had never been to Safeway before. Store was very clean, very organized, and I appreciated how many employees it had. I was asked if I needed help and that hadn't happened in a grocery store in years

It’s always something with the pharmacy… Today was my last straw. I picked up an inhaler a week ago the thing does not work… hasn’t worked right since I got it. So I brought it to the pharmacy and you would think I was trying to steal or something the way they made me feel about it. So the guy takes it in the back and proceeds to clean it out… it’s a week old so it shouldn’t be dirty and he said that should solve the problem. I told him it hasn’t been working probably since I got it… He did not care he just proceeded to tell me to clean it when it needs to be cleaned. He also sprayed 20 doses while he was working on it. So ridiculous. And I honestly think they thought I was trying to get away with something. Majority of the times I’ve been there they have been very rude and this is why I will not be using this pharmacy again.

They act as if doing their job is an inconvenience. Iaesha must hate her life. I'm calling to get my mental health prescription and I've never been met with someone more rude and hateful. asked me to call my doctor even though I had refills. You my dear aren't a kind human and shouldn't be dealing with humans that need life saving meds.

I have been going to this Pharmacy for a number of years, and have found the staff to be consistently pleasant, respectful, efficient, and always willing to help and explain when you have questions. The pharmacist whoever is on duty is also extremely effective and courteous. A great addition to the Safeway store.

The male pharmacist with glasses running the counter has one of the worst attitudes ive seen in a pharmacy, bordering on necessitating a psych evaluation from how depressed he acts. He does not inform me on how much my prescriptions cost nor which ones I'm able to pick up; let alone give me ANY information on the drugs. He hardly ever speaks unless it's to tell me my $4 medication won't be insured (he doesn't say this for the $50 one that is also uninsured?) or to morosely deny me for no reason until I repeatedly assert the medications are ready (and then he suddenly finds the pill bag .. wow!). Maybe pick someone better for customer service when taking care of something as crucial as people's health and instead stick the unapproachable people behind the counter.
