I had an incredibly upsetting experience at this Safeway pharmacy. On January 31, I called to inquire about my prescriptions, and the pharmacist I spoke with was extremely rude. He didn’t even bother to check the computer to see when my prescriptions could be filled. Instead, he took it upon himself to call my doctor, cancel my prescription, and delete the medication I needed from my profile.
What’s worse is that he kept a medication with a higher milligram on my profile—one that I didn’t want to take and that my doctor specifically advised me not to take anymore. My doctor and I had agreed to stick with the original milligram, but the pharmacist ignored this and acted unprofessionally.
My insurance company confirmed there were no holds or issues on their end, yet the pharmacist still refused to help me. Even my insurance agent remarked that this behavior seemed discriminatory against me specifically.
I struggle with mental health challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD, and what they are doing is severely impacting my well-being. Their actions have caused unnecessary stress and worsened my mental health, which is unacceptable. Pharmacies should be places of help and care—not sources of harm and discrimination.
I would strongly caution others to avoid this pharmacy if you are looking for fair and compassionate treatment.

The generic Viagra they carry is absolutely worthless. I thought that I had permanent ED because for the entire year that I purchased this counterfeit product I had zero results. Then I ordered generic Viagra from an online pharmacy and it worked exactly like it was supposed too. This is a total scam by the manufacturer.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Rudest pharmacy staff I've ever dealt with and they had the gall to question my prescription and accuse me of having a fake prescription. Will never go here again

Was kind of dreading picking up my normal Rx at a higher price (received a text notification). When I asked about the price increase, the technician advised it was because I received a 90-day supply! Whew! This is great!

I have tried to change my prescriptions to this pharmacy and the lady and man that works there are so Rude. I keep telling myself maybe their having a bad day then I try again and they are still so rude. Some peoplethat I know say the same thing. I live so close and shop at safeway alot I guess they don't need any more customers at the pharmacy. I have been wanting to change all my prescriptions from walgreens to safeway pharmacy but I am a little scared

That lady Sam is a total joke. I cannot believe she actually has a job there. I know these pharmacist are over-worked and under-paid, but this lady has no temperment for the job. I called for a refill transfer and this lady completely folded. She told me "it will be several days before I can get to it. I am the only one working here". I told her that what she was saying was unreasonable and asked for her supervisor. She told me "he is gone for a week. I am the supervisor".Safeway, do yourself a favor and get a real pharmacist that can actually do the job. Terrible customer service Sam!!!!!!!

I have spoken with several pharmacies asking about whether or not they can fill a prescription. I did not ask for specifics, just if they could fill it. I was told by the pharmacist that he couldn't give me that information, and that my doctor had to call to get it. What doctor do you know will take your call at the time you reach out to them? They either call you back in a few hours, or even a few days. Or they have a nurse call you, and then they have to ask the doctor, and then get back to you...again in a few hours or days! I called other Safeway pharmacies, as well as other brand pharmacies, and none of them had a problem telling me if they could fill it or not. This pharmacist just made this pharmacy look really bad in my eyes, and I will NEVER go to another one. So, for those of you who work at Safeway, thank him for making you look like jerks!!
