I'm new to Phoenix and spent months searching for the right stylist. After reading countless reviews, I finally decided on Alejandro at Salon D'Shayn and I'm so glad I did.
From the very first consultation, Alejandro came across as both personalbe and highly knowledgable about hair coloring. He has now colored ny hair three times , and each time he has made excellent suggestions for blening shades that look natural and flattering. What impressed me most is taht he was completely accomodating when I explained that, due to allergies, I hve to use specific product that most salons refuse to work with. Instead of resiting, he was professional and supportive, which made me feel comfortable and cared for.
On top of that, his haircuts are extremely flattering and he has a great eye for detail.
I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Love the vibe & love my stylist Nadine! She is keeping me looking & feeling great through a pixie grow out. My head was shaved for a surgery and Nadine has made me feel beautiful again 🩷

I followed my stylist from Salon D'Shayn to 2 other salons and back to Salon D'Shayn. I'm so happy she's back here! The space is bright and upbeat! The staff is friendly and great at remembering you even when there are months between visits.

Cutting off over 12inches off (3years of short trims) I was super nervous, but your great vibes and wonderful atmosphere made the transition a wonderful experience! I first visited Bao about seven years ago, when Salon D' Shayn opened on Central Avenue in mid-town Phoenix (in the Muse Apartments). I hoped at the time that my life-long search had ended for a qualified, grounded hair professional to create and maintain my hair style and color.
Bao continues to impress with the quality of service that he provides. He creates a look that is equally as flattering in the office (YES, even WFH) as it is out at dinner or social events and even holds up well during outdoor activities.
His attention to detail is unmatched as is his ability to take some basic direction and use that to create an individual style that is contemporary and complimentary, yet timeless as well.

Bao has been cutting my hair for about 15 years and within the last year I started bringing my 3 young sons to Bao for their cuts too! The environment of the salon is clean, peaceful and welcoming for all ages and genders!

I decided to try Salon D'Shayn after reading positive reviews online. After having a phone consultation with Bao, I felt confident that I could trust him. He knew I was nervous to trust a new stylist and was very careful to take my needs into account and make me feel comfortable every step of the way. I had two separate appointments with him. First to do a keratin treatment and cut, and two weeks later for a color service of base color and highlights. All were done with great care and perfect communication, leading to amazing results. My hair looks fantastic, and most importantly, Bao was very careful to ensure he was keeping my hair healthy through each step and ensuring no damage was done during the lightening process. I’m very happy with my hair and will continue to see Bao, he’s a great stylist and so nice with excellent communication skills.
