I learned a lot from Sitwell about getting your furniture reupholstered. I’d keep looking, but not here. It took them 4 times to fix a cushion. Then asked us to pay more for something that was in the contract to repair. Then Rick had the audacity to say we were costing him money, rude. He didn't do the job as promised, good grief. We feel ripped off by him, and held hostage so gave him an extra $300.00 plus. I would look else where or buy new, but not here.We paid over $3300 to have a sofa upholstered, and they were suppose to tighten the springs in the sofa in contract, but didn’t , so instead of having to deal with them, and getting charged more we put a board under cushion which was supposed to be like buying a new sofa when done what a waste of money, should of gone with another company or bought new. Upfront lots of promises, but the work not done professionally. Its been a few years since dealing with them, and still upset I spent all this money, and the work was not done as promised. Plus when you sit in the sofa the cushions slide forward.

Seriously don’t shop from here people here seem so incompetent especially the owner literally lacks common sense. Their fabric selections are so outdated. The showroom looks so messy says a lot about their work ethic. Such an unprofessional place to shop at. Think twice before spending your money in this kind of place. The owner especially is so unprofessional a huge waste of time!!!

The workmanship in upholstery and wood refinishing is beautiful. The problem is with the owner Rick and communication overall. There wasn't any paperwork given at the start of the project. I was unhappy with the result (because of a communication breakdown) and instead of collaborating on a fix, the owner went into a long explanation (after I chased him down) that they didn't do anything wrong before he even heard my concerns. I wasn't attempting to blame but he went on the defensive immediately. He even said that he had me on videotape in the showroom discussing my choices, which is disconcerting. The finish for my chair was supposed to be a warm chocolate honey brown and it came back ebony. Rick stated that some woods take stains differently. When I asked why I wasn't contacted when the color didn't match the sample, he said "We do thousands of chairs and don't have time to call everyone". The insert in the cushion was a foam core with down wrapping. It was returned without a foam core and no one asked me if this was okay, which it's not because, for an all-feather fill, it feels like sitting on cement after they've compressed. Rick promised to call me back to see if there was something that could be done. I never heard from him. I have to sell my beautiful chair now because it's hideous and uncomfortable.

I searched forever to find a place that could recover my motorhome dinette cushions. I finally found Sit Well. They did an excellent job at a very hood price. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Went to Sit Well one day found out you need an appointment but the guy wrote down our contact information anyway, and what we needed done, which was recoverin 4 high back bar chairs. The guy said they were very busy but someone would get back to us in two weeks to schedule us in. Well it's been over a month and still no call. I believe our job was too small for them to bother with.I wouldn't/t go back to this place if they were the only shop in 1000 miles.I DO NOT recommend them!

Horrible experience, poor communication over promised and under delivered. New cushions for patio chairs, they had the original cushions as a template and still couldn't get it right. Sit Well had to remake the back cushions twice and they are still wrong, I gave up on Sit Well. Their customer service is not a confidence builder. I spent over $2000.00 with Sit Well and had to have the job corrected by another upholstery shop.

No stars or minus. DO NOT do business with this man. Had them re-fabric 11 pillows, 4 bar stool and 4 chaise lounge cushions. Many were done wrong and had to take them back to correct. Also Rick was to powder coat 4 chaise lounge chairs. Have paid for all the invoices and he has not returned any of the items. Won't take calls and won't return the items. He is a nightmare to deal with.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I have been attempting to get a very simple job completed of recovering an ottoman cushion. On August 27 I connected with Sit Well Upholstery from Angie's List. An appointment was secured for August 29. When I arrived, the gentleman I was dealing with was of minimal help, but that was because he was one of the fabricators and not the owner. I selected a fabric, left payment and was told that Rick would call me with the pick up date. On Sept. 8, I had not heard from Rick so I called, left a VM and sent a text. NO REPSONSE. Called again on Sept 12, Sept 13, & Sept 14. FINALLY after having to ask when I could pick up my cushion so I could take it elsewhere, Rick called back. He passed the buck and did not take responsibility for his actions and blamed on the worker that assisted when I brought it in. He promised to have it done by the end of the month. The new promise date had passed and I contacted them on Oct. 3. NO RESPONSE. Then I called again on Oct 9. Received a response on Oct 10 with another story of lies and failure to take responsibility of his poor business practices. He halfway apologized and promised it would be done Oct 21. The new date had passed so I called and texted again on Oct 25. NO RESPONSE. The following day I received a VM with ANOTHER story. This man lies so much he cannot keep his story straight. As I am looking at the other reviews, it appears Rick has a track record of being a poor and dishonest businessman. I am going to pick up my cushion tomorrow I hope!I am sad to sad this is the FIRST negative review I have ever left on YELP.

So unfortunate. It's been 2 weeks. I called multiple times, sent several emails, even filled out their online form, yet I heard back from no one. They don't seem interested in customers. Taking my money elsewhere.

We had a great experience with Sitwell from start to finish. We had our outdoor couch and large ottoman reupholstered and the metal framing refurbished and we couldn't be happier. It looks like a new set of furniture. We received a cost estimate and we were charged exactly what was quoted with no surprises. The process took about a month to complete the project which I felt was a rather quick timeframe. Rick was very fair and helpful. I highly recommend Sitwell as we will definitely be using them for future projects!

I am pleased with the work. This 1922 Art Deco piece, my great grandmothers furniture will go into the future with a beautiful new coat. The crafts person did an amazing job.
