Absolutely Terrible Customer Service – No Accountability
My wife scheduled an appointment with Sleep Number to have our bed assembled the afternoon we moved into our new home. They confirmed the afternoon appointment twice. The night before the appointment, we received a text saying the crew would be coming in the morning instead.
We immediately called back and explained again, that the movers were bringing our belongings Friday morning, so the bed had to be installed in the afternoon. They confirmed (again) that it was updated.
Day of move-in? Another text saying they were on the way in the morning.
When we called customer service, the representative was rude, dismissive, and said they “can’t control when the technicians show up,” even though we had a confirmed time window. Then we were told we’d have to wait another 10 days and they didn’t care at all that we would be sleeping in a new house without a bed.
When I asked for a manager, I was told “I am the manager and there’s nothing we can do.”
This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and absolutely horrible customer service. We spent a lot of money on this bed and expected better. Instead, we’re stuck in our home with no bed for 10 days because Sleep Number can’t honor its own scheduling nor take responsibility for it.
Never again. Avoid this company unless you’re okay with broken promises and zero accountability
The bed sucks fyi. Going with Beauty rest Black. Less money and way more comfortable.

The experience in the store was good. I had to call customer service on Monday to use my referral code and the lady I spoke to was very disrespectful. I told her I would just return it if I couldn’t use the code because the store manager told me I could use it. She told me not to threaten her with returning it and told me to call the store and return in and said she was ending the call. I spent 7k and the next day I have my dad buy the climate 369 from the same salesperson. I was shocked that the customer service rep treated me this way.

This bed is wonderful, long overdue!
I had a great experience with Lamar. He was cool and collected through some technical issues with a referral code. He quickly got in touch with the right people to fix it, including getting a hold of his manager on the managers day off!
They really went above and beyond :)

I called this Phoenix location at 317 p.m. on wednesday, June 19th. The amazing employee that answered the phone helped me with everything that I needed. I cannot recall her name exactly. But she said she was the only female. She mentioned that she has been working there a couple months. Regardless of the time she has spent at this store or even company all together she deserves a great praise! Our granddaughter accidentally unplugged something from underneath our queen bed. She is super young and well accidents happened. I immediately panicked and forced myself under this amazing high-tech piece of equipment. I began to adjust what I believed to be the problem, unfortunately I couldn't figure out why the bed wasn't filling with air. This beautiful employee helped me through figuring out our issues in no time! All problems resolved and issues avoided. Thank you so much Missy ?

I had a great experience at this location. After seeing a few negative reviews online, I was a little skeptical. So glad I didn’t listen to others and had my own experience. Chris was amazing and not pushy or sales type at all. Being in sales myself, I really appreciate genuine conversations and knowledge. We tried a lot of beds and after finding the best fit.. I left the store still unsure as I had looked at so many beds. I had a store credit card which helped financially as the beds are not cheap so that played a role in my decision! Paying it off over time was a benefit. But the reason I bought is not because of financing but because Chris offered me a really great deal. He threw in some free items which I was grateful for and made my experience really easy. A bed is a big commitment and you want to feel comfortable with the company you use. The bed was delivered today. I changed my delivery date last minute thanks to Chris’s help and the delivery teams called and gave wonderful communication. They were sooo professional and nice! Honestly very high level service feeling. I’m so glad everything went exactly as planned and they delivered exactly what they said!! SOOO EXCITED TO TRY OUT MY NEW BED TONIGHT! Been in pain for awhile on my past bed that wasn’t working for my body anymore! Thanks Chris and delivery team for making this experience great. Highly recommend this store!

I worked with Julyan and he was an absolute pleasure. I have never met someone so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful when buying a mattress. I have a disease and get a lot of surgeries. I need constant change to be remotely comfortable. Julyan listened to my complex needs and provided expert service. Sleep number is very lucky to have Julyan as an employee.

We have been considering a Sleep Number for some time, and have visited a few stores. This store had the most knowledgeable staff and genuinely cared about finding the right bed for us. I can't recommend them strongly enough, Chris and his team were fantastic.

Julyan and Chris have gone above and beyond to help me with my 7 yr old sleep number bed that I was having issues with….their customer service is top notch and I have to say no one has been friendlier or more helpful than these two guys! They both contacted me a day later to make sure everything with the bed was working smoothly and I really appreciated it! I will recommend anyone looking for a sleep number bed to go only to their store from now on!!

The young man that helped us at the store was amazing. Giving us lots of information without being pushy, giving us time to think it over and discuss. He laid out lots of options for us, and made the decision making process much simpler and enjoyable highly recommend.
