Do Not Rent From This Company. I leased a box and paid in full for the 1 month I needed it. The box was picked up on within the one month period. That was March 14th. I continue to receive invoices for not one but two boxes and as many times as I email, call and show documents, the company refuses to resolve the issue. The most recent invoice was for over $700 for a box or in their system 2 boxes that I don’t even have. They pretend they’re going to help but in the end I think this is a scam. Avoid!!!!

Had a box rented from him was in my driveway they picked it up today to pull it out and scratch my driveway left black marks all the way down my driveway. When I called them they said basically the company is not going to do anything about it that I should just go get a power washer and blast my own driveway. This company is horrible horrible horrible don't use them

Worst moving experience ever! Delivery was 2 weeks late (took over 4 weeks) and while we were waiting no one could or would tell us where our rented boxes were. No communication. And if we were able to get thru to someone on the phone (had to leave a message and wait sometimes over 24hrs for a return call) they could not give us any answers. Please consider any other company. Smartbox has good rates but not worth the poor service. A horrible experience.

Worst company in the world. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Communication it’s terrible it takes hundreds of phone calls and weeks just got get a live person. My boxes should have been picked up on 6/7 a week later they finally get picked up. A woman named Laura apparently is the head of long distance moving she is non existent. I was suppose to receive a call a week ago from her about My boxes still nothing. Called and sent emails directly to her today still nothing. Today 6/18 is suppose to be my delivery date of my furniture and I have no communication from smartbox. This place is a scam. They will take your money right away and then act like you are non existent. I have filed a complaint with the BBB against them and have contacted my attorney for violation of their lease agreement. I moved my entire family of 5 1800 miles away trusting a top 5 moving pod company and this is how we get treated. We will be lucky to even see our things ever again. PLEASE STAY AWAY I am telling everyone now. Look at their Facebook reviews look at their google reviews everything you see is 100% true.

Final update: The very nice rep was able to get my questions answered but since we were looking for a storage solution that could stay onsite (rather than be kept at one of their facilities) we had to cancel. At least canceling was an easy process! Update: Received a call back 4 hours after being placed on hold and got some, but not all, of my questions answered. Very nice representative though. Post #1: Hoping this will trigger a response. I placed an order for boxes to be delivered through the website but my calls and emails are going unanswered. We have movers lined up to load the boxes but I'm beginning to doubt if they will actually arrive when they said they would. Stay tuned for an update...

If I can give Smartbox -5 stars I would in a heartbeat. Communication is absolutely terrible their services suck and customer service is the worst. Pods picked up 7 days later. I was told this will not effect the delivery date. 5 days after my scheduled delivery date still no pods, no communication and I have been on hold for 2hrs. Some woman named Laura was suppose to call me 4x and yet I have never heard from her. Stay away from this company I am telling you now you will never get your things. Be prepared to start your life over with your items. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and have also contacted my attorney.

What terrible customer service. You cannot make any changes to your reservations and trying to connect with somebody is impossible. They do not answer the phone or answer live chat. I am now stuck with a box that I cannot move or do anything with.

Run awayyyyyy!!! Horrible. Scheduled service and after threes days of calls, emails, and sitting on chat with zero response I cancelled as I did not trust them to show up for my mover. Let alone entrust them with my items in storage. If I had items in storage and needed to have them delivered how can I do that when it is impossible to get any communication for three days.

This is by far the worst moving pods company out they're. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM. They're is no real office in Arizona. There's also no way to contact them. They say they'll call you back, then it's 3 days later and still nothing. Please Please read this review and do not buy from them.

I hate to do this. But it seems like it may be the ONLY way for me to get a response. I had my move from Phoenix to Chicago booked with Smartbox. At first everything seemed fine. I really enjoyed communicating with them at first, my representative made sure we had out expectations aligned. I paid, they picked up my box (yes the plywood was definitely not what I expected, but whatever), I was supposed to see it within two weeks at my destination. This was not the case. After a lot of back and forth, horrible communication and lack of confirming something like drop off days and times correctly...Almost six weeks later my things get delivered. There are MANY claims about weather, low staffing, etc on why it took this long (*in your contract, these are reasons why they cant refund you). THEN they did let it slip that my box was actually not even in transit during this time, to try to play me. Many items came back damaged by water. No responses, no emails back, not answering phone calls. Oh and they sent me an invoice for a "storing fee" for the last month which is an absolute joke. Delivery guy was super nice though.
