I've gone to Snooze in Ahwatukee more than a couple of times, usually to meet friends for breakfast. The place is super cute. They have seating inside and outside. This location does get packed really quickly. Advice- arrive early for no wait time. They have lots of options for breakfast/ brunch. The food is good. Coffee is okay. Staff are super nice but super busy. I do feel that it is very pricey for what the food it is but overall, it is a nice place to enjoy.

I got their flight of pancakes - blue berry Danish, cinnamon roll, and their new seasonal pancake pumpkin pie pecan. It was awesome!!!!

I understand inflation but when you buy the additional topping on the pancakes I paid three dollars for the pancakes toppings and they don’t fill up the icing cup all the way .. i was embarrassed I paid and the kitchen can even fill up the cup when I paid additional for it .. great pancakes but when someone pays additional they expect the product in full

I love Snooze! I got the pancake of the week which was blueberry ricotta and it was so perfect. Also the strawberry lavender lemonade is delicious.

We had a great breakfast of shrimp and grits. Our server, Kelsie was exceptional. She was so friendly and accommodating. Made our morning very special. Thank you!

Had the Loco Moco, it was no where near the Hawaiian version, original still is better. gravy is lacking, should have been short ribs but the meat was shredded off, no bones, salty. After being served the Monte Cristo Brioche, the kitchen staff took the plate back , didnt even wait if we wanted to keep the plate or not, but apparently, we got the gluten free bread…apparently, it was someone else’s order. We sat at a table where there was an inattentive server who decided he’d be a bar tender instead after introducing himself as our server. Line was long outside, but there was a table of 6 people who have already finished with food and drinks yet, did not leave for at least 45 mins, chatting away. Floor manager was not attentive in moving people out after their service time. Servers and manager were focused on their gadgets, not presence of customers. Seems like every employee has their own agenda, no one managing breaks nor assignments. Poor management. Food is not that great.

First time eating here…Breakfast tacos were incredible… per the servers suggestion, I got them on flour tortilla. Glad I did as they held together well and weren’t greasy.I look forward to coming back and trying more food off the menu, but being a creature of habit, I’ll probably just get the breakfast tacos every single time :DThe service was wonderful and sitting outside with the weather like it is in late January, was awesome!

DEC 2023 - UPDATE!UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! At least since my review a few years ago. New servers also, mostly. Post-COVID, it has been much better! Food is better, servers are better. Food is more consistent - and the B.S. up charges to (theoretically) increase tip amount (if based on a percentage) are gone, along with the disagreeable snotty server that backfiring method.PRE-COVID REVIEW: Not thrilled anymore w this location. Food preparation quality has fallen, service is spotty at times & asking for anything extra results in up charges. Example: $0.75 extra for about a tablespoon of mascarpone cheese, $0.75 extra for about a tablespoon of vanilla sauce & $0.75 extra for about a tablespoon of caramel sauce. We've been coming here once a week since they opened. But maybe we'll consider other options, since they've gone downhill over the past couple of months. Cuz now, it's just "OK", where it was great.
