Associate was very pushy to get private information so that they can add it to the database as Chicos had some promotion going on. That should be optional and nobody should be forced to provide personal info if they don't want to. Corporate needs to reinvent there marketing gimmicks. Store itself has a large variety to look from.

When I first entered this store, I didn’t receive any help which is all good because I knew my size and what I needed.However, the store salesperson (an older woman) was extremely annoyed that I’d come in and interrupted her conversation with presumedly her coworker (definitely not a customer). After a few minutes of browsing, she came up to me, acted as though I was a bother, sighed asking “so what is it that you want”.If she doesn’t want to help me that’s fine, I never asked or intruded her for it, so why approach me just to be so rude? It’s like she was shooing me out so she could continue the conversation I interrupted just by walking into the store.In the end, she didn’t even suggest anything to me, she just took my items to the purchase counter. There’s other stores in the area where you can buy products providing the same thing, with actual helpful, at the very least not rude, people. I can’t imagine how she acts with someone who needs help with sizing or product choice.

My new favorite place to shop for bras. Sorry VS, but they don't make em like they used to. While I like the company itself, at this particular store the older women working here sometimes seem bothered when someone comes in. I find it easier to shop online, try and then return if needed. Happy with the brand!

This was some of the worst, rudest customer service I've ever received. It almost brought me to tears the way I was treated and I have absolutely no idea why. I was perfectly nice, just trying to find a bra and the entire time the sales associate acted as if I was a criminal or something. So odd, and it was from the moment I walked in. I think she was upset I looked in the drawer for my size and acted like I should have known exactly what I wanted. Maybe it's not allowed but how was I supposed to know that? At one point I thought she was handing me a bra so I took it and she commented that I "snatched it out of her hand" Someone either hates their job or was having a terrible day. But I could not have been kinder. Another reviewer mentioned being treated like a second class citizen and that's exactly what it felt like. Won't be back.

The customer service at this store is amazing. They go out of there way to make sure you are happy with your purchase, and they are generous with coupon codes and specials. Return policy is exceptional. Today I made an exchange to take advantage of a better discount. It was a pain in the neck for the salesperson to do, but they were polite and very helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

No customer service! The 2 Saturday associates were busily chatting together at the counter (no other customers in store); both failed to even acknowledge me! I walked to the back and kept browsing, and they still did not speak to me. RUDE. I went elsewhere for my purchase. This level of non-service is unacceptable.

I went to return some bras I had bought online to the Biltmore Fashion Park store and had no desire to do an exchange. In fact, I even whined about it a little to the saleswomen but Heather, the Manager, asked me if I'd just like to try something on so I did. She was AMAZING!! She brought me at least 10 different bras, explaining the fit of each one, even going upstairs a couple of times to find just the right size for me. I walked out of that store with four bras just under $200 that looked and felt great on me. I usually buy my bras at Target and try them on when I get home. Heather created a lifelong customer by making me feel comfortable and catered to. I truly stepped out of my comfort zone (standing there topless which I have NEVER done!) and she treated me with dignity and care. Something I honestly didn't think I would feel in my current skin. Thank you Heather and thank you SOMA, I will definitely be back!!

Today was my first time in Soma, and I had a great experience. Claudia helped me throughout the whole process. She was very kind and patient with me. I appreciated her input and help with getting the right fit and bras. She deserves a raise! Thank you Claudia and Soma for a great experience!

Wife and stopped in to shop and purchase a bra for her whole out of town.. the staff was absolutely rude, unhelpful and overall was one of the worst retail experiences I've experienced personally. If you want a staff filled with attitude in the face of simple questions as you shop, this is the place for you! If you prefer helpful, welcoming staff then I recommend you go elsewhere.

I absolutely love their products, however do not go to this location unless you want to be entirely ignored. Like literally not even a greeting as I walked through the door. I really needed to be sized for a bra but I was too intimidated to ask the grouchy sales women who by the way had no other customers in the store.

I was just in the store and I am sorry to say I have have never been treated so rudely! I wasn’t even acknowledged or told I/We will be with you in a moment! The two ladies were to busy chatting it up with a mom and her two grown daughters. I have scoliosis for me to go and shop is painful and I don’t get to go shopping very often because standing 20 minutes or more is difficult. I have always come to this store because the staff is always been sweet and kind even when they are with customers letting me know they see me but need to take care of the individual they are with. Granted I wasn’t getting much but some pants and a bra both on sale so I guess they didn’t see me as worth their time because I didn’t look like I had money. Well I buy all the time online mostly because of my pain. I just wanted to get some comfy pants and bra because I am going to an MRI for my spin and needed something easy to get in and out of. Not sure if I will come back to this store again because of this. You can do better SOMA

Went to SOMA today to buy some comfy pants and a bra because I have an MRI today I have scoliosis and in a lot of pain, needed something easy to get in and out of. I don't usually shop in person but when I do I do it because it's nice to get out and I'm not shopping which get old. I was treated like a second class citizen there were three customers that were checking out a mom and her grown daughters. Seemed that the sales people behind the counter were more interested in catering to them and chitchatting then they were acknowledging me. I had picked out a pair of comfy pants and a bra they were both on sale granted it wasn't gonna be a big sale for them either sorry about that I guess and I shouldn't be. But they didn't even acknowledge me even to say will be with you in a moment. I don't even think they even knew I was in the store can't miss me I'm a tall blonde woman. It is an effort for me to go shopping I can't stand for very long 20 minutes is about as long as I can stand and have to sit down for a bit. I was happy to get out and it was a beautiful day. But don't think I'll be back to the store if this is the way they treat their customers or at least ones that don't have money. This is the first time I have been treated this way in this store. I get chatting with people you are helping and being personable, but you still need to be aware of others too.You can do better SOMA!

I have placed an online order about a month ago, a and did not receive it although it says delivered. It is impossible to speak to customer service. I called several times, on various days. $80 out the window.

My husband went Christmas shopping for me at the Soma store in the Biltmore. He was shocked to see how unfriendly the sales women were. He said they only waited on other women and he actually had to go ask one sales rep for assistance in paying for his purchase! He said he would've bought more clothes, but he just wasn't getting the help that he felt that he needed. My husband is a excellent buyer but a poor shopper. I've always liked the Soma products, but I'm not sure if my husband will be doing any future shopping at the Biltmore location.
