Ugh! My recent grad daughter/new teacher moved here to be close to her new job and was so excited about the location, then the ROACHES came. I mean EVERYWHERE. Let me preface this with the fact that she had a dishwasher that was leaking (which has since been replaced) and there are areas all around the apartment that are NOT properly sealed. She has a studio and keeps it clean and clutter free (taking the garbage out daily) She was cooking and one CRAWLED into her frying pan. She called me in tears when she found one on her mouth retainer. While her apartment has been fumigated in addition to spray treatments and she received a new dishwasher-the bottom line is this DOES NOT address the INFESTATIONS IN NEIGHBORING units. Some things to keep in mind-1)The WHOLE BUILDING NEEDS TO BE FUMIGATED.2)There is a poor system in place for timely maintenance/pest control.3)There is 'valet garbage service' where residents leave their garbage in front of the door which in an open invite for roaches. What was meant to be a solid transition to her new career has been a period full of stress, exhaustion and embarrassment.Instead of making meaningful calls to follow-up with students she is calling about bugs and researching preventative measures. In addition, she has allergies and the 'roach poop and remains of their shedding exoskeletons' has created health issues as well. She is SO STRESSED about this and CAN'T FATHOM moving in the midst of dealing with her new career. SPECTRUM SHOULD MOVE HER TO A ROACH FREE UNIT AND PROVIDE MOVING SERVICES.

I am only giving a 1 star rating because I actually like the community, the office staff is friendly, and maintenance is 5 stars. On the other hand, I've been dealing with an infestation for 6+ months. I've done my due diligence I've reached out to the office. 1. They sprayed 2. Still a continued problem and was told it would be bombed 3. I prepped my home to get bombed, and all they did was spray.4. Multiple other residents have seen the issue, but only a couple have brought it to their attention. 5. BURNS came out and did an inspection of bldg 11. The inspection consisted of only opening my cabinets. This is absolutely ridiculous, I've complained multiple times and only feel like I've actually been heard this last time(10/25) I have children who live here and this is absolutely unsanitary, and a health hazard. I absolutely hate coming into my apartment and opening up my drawers. I have ptsd, and I have found them in my dishwasher and have to constantly re-wash my dishes. This is my final straw. See attachment. I should have never listened to my neighbor by pulling out my refrigerator, but here we are. I need this shit taken care of. The office staff is actually trying to take care of this now, but BURNS PEST CONTROL is dropping the ball big time.

I have lived here since 10/15/2022. In January my AC blew off out and it was replaced. Since then, I have had a persistent leak above my washer through the secondary drain. The maintenance team has come out 5 times to address this. The first 3 times the same thing that was accomplished was redone (we need to vacuum out the main drain). The 4th and 5th time, the same extra thing happened with a different solution (we need to adjust the drain pan and angle it to the main drain). Finally, the ac company came out and now my leak is coming from the AC unit in the middle of my hallway. We are now on month 9 of this not being fixed, and it's ridiculous. This leak is not clean water, i have wasted countless hours rewashing clothes that smell disgusting because of the leak. A bucket constantly sat on my washer catching this water. I have work and a life like everyone else. I cannot watch a leak and dump out the bucket every time. I would not recommend this place to anyone around or near me. The receptionist gave me an attitude the 3 time I called to get this resolved. The maintenance team is polite but there is NO coordination about what has been done and what other solutions could be.

I love it here. For the price, especially in this economy, I think it is great. My apartment is spacious, quiet, and very updated. The maintenance people are so nice and quick to respond to requests. The amenities are great and I've never had any issues. The front desk ladies are great and helpful, it is overall a great place to live.

We have lived at this complex since 2020, and overall the experience is positive. The maintenance staff and courtesy officers are prompt and professional. They provide updates on property maintenance and events consistently on the Henri App and via email. They have emergency maintenance as well as overnight security, so if you have a noise complaint after hours, you can call and they will take care of it. This is the main highlight and major reason I would hesitate to move to another apartment community. Their level of service is unmatched. It is not a spacious community. Buildings are huddled close to parking lot and are close together. The walkways are narrow and right on the curb and almost in people’s balconies. There is a lot of dog poop around the property, especially in the 2 grassy areas. The complex isn’t kid friendly. There aren’t many places for kids to play without dealing with cars in the parking lot or dog poop in the grass areas. Yes, the complex is constantly sending emails reminding residents to pick up after their animals, but they’re constantly sending them for a reason... We appreciate the effort, however.Pool is normally well maintained minus the pool lights. It’s dark water, so don’t swim at night, unless they’ve fixed them in the last 2 months. It is heated in winter. They just renovated the pool area and there are hammocks and cabanas now.Parking is plentiful except on Sunday mornings. It’s a great complex for singles and couples overall, but I wouldn’t recommend Spectra if you have young kids that like being outside. Prepare to drive to do anything outdoors-related that doesn’t involve a pool. Lol.

Way too expensive for what you get. Horrible neighbors. Animal waste everywhere... the loudest pool parties you've ever heard going til 3am. Do yourself a favor and just rent a house. It'll cost you the same.

I have lived in this community for a couple years. And Alan and Benny on the maintenance staff are awesome. They are always very helpful and kind and explain the work they are doing. They also go out of their way to make sure things are attended to in a timely manner.

This is an absolutely honest review.I have been living here since I moved to Phoenix. First 15 months were great. I never had any issues in the apartment that i was at. Then I was relocated to another “upgraded” unit as the management wanted to upgrade the old unit. A flurry of maintenance issues awaited me in the new unit. I had to file request after request for issues that I discovered so regularly. When I rained, my ceiling started to literally pour from multiple spots. Then I discovered the windows leaked huge amounts of wind and dust during the dust storms. Now this can drive your electric bill through the roof in summers. Fortunately I am not there yet. Then the refrigerator started to malfunction. Then again it rained after few days and the ceiling flecked and big scabs of paint hung from the ceiling and over the fan. I am not saying that the management doesn’t address the issues. They are responsive. But this is causing me inconvenience every time. It was their responsibility to check/ inspect the unit before moving me in here from across the street as this disrupts my living. If there is damage by tenants to the property, the tenants are held liable right away. What about this situation? How will the tenant now be compensated? Will they forgive me a months rent for all the inconvenience?

Sure they spent lots of money on THEIR offices that DIDN'T need to be updated, on the floors and walls of the workout center (same old broken equipment) and the club house/movie theater have all been updated (when it wasn't necessary) new furniture for the pool, but the mailboxes are broken constantly having issues THAT THEY OWN AND HAVE KNOWN HAVE ISSUES SINCE THEY TOOK OVER 2 YEARS AGO!You have to drive to the post office to get your mail for several of the apartments on the 3rd floor, they lie and say it's been 4 weeks and waiting on the post office to fix when it's been SINCE FEB 14TH, 2022 and its THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX!! The people in the front office are rude and lie, they don't clean the grounds like they used to, there is debris all over and trash all over OVERFLOWING from the trash by the mailboxes... They are updating the apartments and raising rents, forcing people who have lived here for a long time to move to an updated apartment and then hit them with higher rent, but hey it's what you have to put up with in these days right??!! No!!!! Instead find another and do not give your money to Mark Taylor. They need whole new management and front desk people! Go to the north side Avora, if you want to live in this area.Updated: this response below is a very good view of the lies...the grounds DO NOT get cleaned regularly (been weeks since the debris of trees have been cleaned), the man that is rude STILL works in the front office AND IS STILL RUDE! Brush off on supply chain issues as the reason for the lack of repairs said above, i.e. same old broken work out equipment in a newly remodeled workout center?♂️

I just wanted to start off by saying Lisa Ngo was one of the nicest young ladies. She went into good detail on what the apartments offer & have. For her working there for only a month, she was a 10/10. Definitely recommend!
