Just returned home from Summer Winds. Justin helped us with plant choices for our pots and a section of the front yard. He helped us choose full sun plants that worked well together. He had a wonderful attitude and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you, Justin!

Has just about everything you could need for a garden. Great seed selection, including organic seeds. I also picked up a hummingbird feeder and a bird food wheel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a rewards points program! Will only be coming here for my garden and plant needs moving forward.

Frequent customer here, angry about a recent purchase. My penstemon’s roots filled only 2/3 of the pot, 1/3 being loose dirt and rocks (!). That is a deceptive practice and I have posted a review on the grower’s site. Moreover, there were three grubs in the loose soil. I am sorely disappointed.

I had a great experience with SummerWinds. I called months before Christmas to inquire about a boysenberry plant. Aiden was incredibly helpful setting aside a plant, taking care of it while it waited for me, and continuing to communicate with me and confirm my interest. The plant looks amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the service at SummerWinds.

We bought a Christmas tree from Summer Winds and it is the fullest tree we have ever bought. I bought two pink lemon trees also. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can't go wrong. Check them out.

I've been a regular customer of SummerWinds for almost 25 years. The staff is always available and eager to help. That said, I have noticed a significant increase in prices this year (which seems to be a trend at other nurseries as well).Update on review from three years ago:The past several times I have been here, the selection is not nearly what it used to be and the prices have now gone through the roof. I found similar plans just down the road at Home Depot for less than half the cost. Many of their plans don't even look healthy, like they once did. Unless something is done at this place, I don't think I will be returning.

Staff so helpful. Ben took a lot of time with us with questions we had about Bermuda seed for summer grass, along with fertilizer and topper, and time to plant summer grass. Very large selection of everything having to do with landscaping. Very clean nursery. Would highly recommend.

My favorite plant nursery in the valley, and I’ve been to them all! The selection of indoor and outdoor plants is consistently excellent, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. I’ve been coming to this SW location on and off for the last several years and have enjoyed it every time; however, my interaction with Matthew today necessitated a review! He was so sweet, knowledgeable, and approachable. He gave me some valuable insight on what cacti could tolerate all the direct sun our patio gets during our brutal summers. Can’t wait to come back soon and get everything I need! Thanks, Matthew!

Bought some plants here a bit ago and had a great experience. Erik was SO helpful and helped me pick out the best plants for my yard. He was super knowledgeable and kindly and patiently explained how to best care for my plants. I’m new to gardening, so I was so appreciative of Erik taking the time to walk me through exactly what I needed and why. Def coming back!

I am 76 years old, an avid gardener, now living in both Scottsdale and Michigan. Never have I had less help at nursery than I have had today. I went in with pictures of my hibiscus hoping to get some guidance regarding the leaf curl, small leaves, etc. I was asked how much water the plant gets, what type of emitter is being used, how often the bush is watered, the type of fertilizer, etc. The young man said that if I could not answer those questions he could not help me. I said that it was watered once a day, how much water I did not know, the emitter also was a question mark. I have a landscape company that cares for my Landscape so several of the questions I could not answer. He did not say, well you can try this or that. No help at all. Am I supposed to get down on my hands and knees and measure the water, should I know the kind of emmiter that is being used, etc. I have applied Neem oil and several fungicides but he gave no comment to that. Yikes, I drove away with no plans on ever returning!!!! Even Home Depot will try harder to help or at least give some possibilities. What a waste of my time. All those in DC Ranch will hear about this fiasco.
