I see Dr. Carson and she is the most amazing doctor I have ever come into contact with. I drive quite a distance just to see her as my primary care doctor. It is definitely worth it. The front desk girls are very helpful and very attentive everytime I get there. I highly recommend this specific location and Dr. Carson.

A very warm and friendly office. All of our concerns were taken seriously with plans of actions that went beyond all expectations! I even felt like I had an advocate to work with insurance companies that have continually tried to deny legitimate claims. I left with confidence that our health concerns are finally being effectively addressed.

My appointment on Thursday was scheduled for 9:15. The front desk greeted me in their usual congenial way. The two professionals I saw were also sociable and professional. Both the trainee and Ms Carson treated me very well and I was duly impressed with both of them. I feel lucky I have a primary care facility like Optima to care for my needs. These people are great!!

Optima was a pleasant experience. I wasn't sure how I would feel about seeing a new provider after having the same primary care doctor for many years. Everyone in the office was friendly and very helpful. I look forward to building a trusting relationship with the staff and providers.

This is a great clinic, customer service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and courteous. Doctors are wonderful and very understanding of your needs and concerns. Would highly recommend them.

I received excellent care! I asked for a test for mono because I was feeling so run down but the practitioner was not satisfied that the mono test was enough. She did a zoom call with me and then ordered many more tests to get to the root of the problem. I felt very well taken care of and am so glad she requested this blood work. I feel better already knowing she will help me get to the root of the problem. Excellent care! Highly recommend!

Simply put, I have never observed a more poorly run medical practice than Optima Medical at Tatum Highlands. First, no one seems to know if or when my provider is going to return from maternity leave. But I was in crisis so I took an appointment with the PA.I arrived at my appointment at the scheduled time. While filling out the digital information on the tablet. the system told me that my BCBS insurance was not valid, even though I had earlier confirmed by phone that my BCBS insurance would be accepted.After completing that part of the visit, I was asked to have a seat in the waiting area. When we got to 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I left. At 40 minutes past my scheduled aqppointment time, I got a call from the practice asking where I was. I explained to the caller that I was far too anxious to continue sitting in the waiting room. I was asked if I would like to schedule another appointment and I explained that I needed to find a different healthcare provider and a real doctor.The Optima Medical practice at Tatum Highlands is clean and attractive, to be sure, but I am quite certain I could have secured the same or better medical care at a public clinic.

Everyone was great, good attitudes and positive atmosphere. Much better than previous appointments. Phlebotomist was amazing, best I've ever had! I think they are improving from where they used to be.

Had a great experience today. I actually followed Mara Carson from the Thunderbird location to Tatum Highlands. I have gone thru 5 primary care doctors in the past and finally found one in Mara. I would recommend her to everyone. In fact my two cousins are under her care as of today. Also the gentleman (forgot his name) training with Mara was great as well. He is a great addition to the staff.
