Excellent food, creative drinks, and great staff. The Gladly is a great place for a date night, but it’s just as good for a private event.

The Gladly is consistently good. The service is great but not to the point of hovering. I ordered the chopped salad and substituted the salmon for chicken. This has been my go-to order for the last few visits. If you order it and they ask if they can "dress" it, say "yes." Don't know why but I think it tastes better when they do. They now also have a great patio so you can take advantage of wonderful spring weather here in Phoenix and request to sit outside.

We had a great time and an even better meal. Crab cakes, scallops and short ribs were all outstanding. The Whiskey list is impressive but not as impressive as the table side ice ball service. One of the coolest things you will ever see for $3 ($1 of which goes to charity). The price is very reasonable for the overall experience. Our server was delightful and paced our meal very well. She was around when we needed her and left us to our meal when we didn't. Can't say enough about our evening at The Gladly.

Our server was really friendly and accommodating. We moved to different tables twice on the patio. She didn't mind. She didn't hover and interrupt our gal time. She was there when we did need her. The food is amazing!

Our first visit so we had to have the chopped salad. I didn't realize that it had meat in it. There was smoked salmon in it and the combination with the other ingredients was great. My hubby and I split the salad so we could share the burrata cheese appetizer which was also delicious We also tried the banana foster dessert with a big scoop of ice cream. Also good but we could have done without it. Hard surfaces and no booths but we will be back for the food.

It wasn't a bad place but we will not return, as we do not like being nickeled and dimed. We order a bread appetizer with butter and olives. The waiter asked us if we'd like some more bread to finish off the appetizer, and we said we would. When the bill came, they charged us $1 per slice of bread. Why offer and then charge? We won't be back.

Our reservation was early, 545. The restaurant was not full by any stretch, yet they sat us next to a table of probably 20 people who I'm thinking, hadn't seen each other in a long time because they were super loud and lots of them would get up, and stand up talking at the end of the table. I would think that they would've let that table get it all out of their system before they sat anyone near them. We ordered the sausage and pretzels and cheese as an appetizer. Probably our fault for assuming that the cheese was going to be melted for dipping. Then we were all excited because we saw I order go past with a cute little fondue pot on it and the pretzels. But when ours arrived , it was just cold chunks of cheese with our pretzels and sausage. The other table had ordered an item from the happy hour menu, one that we didn't even receive, even though we were there during HH. another weird mixup was when we asked the waitress about specials, because we heard another server talk about a rack of lamb as a special, as we walked in to the restaurant. She didn't know anything about them having a rack of lamb that day . Now, she did go ask and find out that they had two left and saved us one, and that worked out just fine. We just thought it was strange that we had to tell her about it. And then, to be honest, it really wasn't very good. The other entrée we ordered was the salmon and she was specific with me about how I wanted it cooked. So I said medium, cooked all the way through. That's why I was so disappointed when I cut into it and it was raw in the middle if we have not had that conversation, I wouldn't have been as Surprised. They took it back and cooked it all the way through. It was fine in the end. Order your second drink before you are done with your first. They take a little while. The Reese's pieces ice cream cake was great. The prices are way out of line for what you receive. My husband said they compared to capital Grille and capital Grille is much better.

The Gladly is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. It never disappoints. For the first time, we sat at the bar. We really enjoyed watching the making of the draft cocktails. Our server was Stephanie. She was great. We had cocktails, their amazing chopped salad, I had the Chimichurri Chicken, and my husband had the Coffee Rubbed Short Ribs. Everything was outstanding.
