It's amazing to me they now offer such great service that they employ 4 people to watch you check yourself out in the 4 registers. Genius corporate planing obviously.

I had such a great experience, I had to leave a review. Sometimes you enter home improvement stores and the staff seem like they are avoiding eye contact at all costs. Today, everyone at this Home Depot was very helpful, courteous and smiled. It made all the difference. It wasn't an off-handed "find everything you need?" as they are passing by giving every indication that they hope to god the answer is yes. Today, they were genuinely asking how they could assist. Really appreciate it. I am not sure if there is new management, or a new Customer Experience training, but whatever it is, keep it up!

I really never thought I would be writing a review for this Home Depot or for that matter any Home Depot. This particular store sits on the northeast corner of Cave Creek Road and Thunderbird Road. Came here to buy replacements for the bathroom. Being that the boxes are big and heavy, I got an employee to help placing the items on a flat cart. By the time we had to get the bigger item there just happened to be another employee who helped out as well. On the way to check out the lady assisting at the register said after I pay she would get someone to help with loading the items in our vehicle. This time there were three of them. Sure enough they were extra careful and I didn't have to say anything, they were extremely helpful as well as careful not to drop any of the boxes. Plus I get a discount for being a military veteran when I purchase items from them. So not only were the items we bought were discounted in price but I got another discount for being a veteran. Overall I found the employees to be very helpful and courteous at this store which makes me come to this particular store more often. If I wasn't buying anything I would just be browsing the store and who knows what I would buy. A big shout out to the employees who helped loading up the vehicle, much appreciated.

Every time I go to my local Cave Creek Home Depot, the personal attention and customer service are above and beyond. Admittedly, my Cairn Terrier is the star and the recipient of treats and compliments that make a pet Mom feel proud. Yesterday's trip was to get foamboard to insulate the hatch in my attic. Unfortunately, the foam board was too large to fit in my trunk but not to worry, the Home Depot staff were on hand to take care of the problem. Dave secured a ruler and utility knife, Bill made sure my terrier had treats, Sonny, HR, was there for support and store manager, Dan. supervised. The mission was a success! No purchase is too small to merit the dedication of the Home Depot staff!

Went far away from home in hopes of finding a better garden section at Home Depot than the one closest to me. Well, turns out that the drive was worth it!! I found the most perfect mini cacti and succulents for an event that I'm helping with. They had a HUGE selection! Their garden flowers were also amazing. They were so healthy, colorful, and the selection was plentiful, so I picked up some flowers for my pots as well. I will absolutely drive an extra 15 mins to come here when in search of anything for the garden! Thank you for making my mini cacti dreams come true. :)

I bought a microwave and range from Home Depot on Cactus & Cave Creek. They have an outside company deliver and install appliances. They installed the microwave, having to drill several holes to do so. As a result there was debris on the floor underneath. They started to push the stove into place, over the debris. I was about to clean it up and asked them not to push it into place until it was cleaned up. I got on my knees, ( I'm 76, so that wasn't easy for me), to clean it up and my son asked them to clean it up instead. At that point one of them got upset and said that they didn't have to clean it up and got angry and said that they were leaving. They did go, leaving the new stove out in the kitchen floor with the packing still in it, and uninstalled. (My son had to go to work ) so the guys left me with a stove out in my kitchen floor. I called their company who kept me on hold for over 50 minutes. I texted them and asked them to call me back, which they never did. At that point I called Home Depot at 12:10. I talked to the store manager, Torin, who immediately got someone on it to call me back. At 12:28 a store manager, John, called me and said he'd get it resolved. At 12:45 John called me back and said he'd send Pablo from the store to finish the job. Pablo & Janelle came to my house - Janelle with a broom & cleaning cloths to clean up the debris while Pablo connected the "Tip Guard" to the wall and the stove, and finished installing the stove. At 2:15 the installation was complete. I wish to thank Torin, John, Pablo & Janelle, at Home Depot, for going out of their way to help, and make me a very satisfied customer! Great customer service!

This is my Favorite Home Depot for the people that work here in customer service, Harley, Destiny, and Ameer go above and beyond for you. The level of professionalism and customer service is The standard that all should be measured. Tirelessly searched for 40 min to find my receipt for a $550 hit water heater purchased that failed and needed returned. They took a stressful situation and made it simple and stress free. Ameer is going to the Thunderbird store go see him!

Rickey, working Tuesday morning, helped me out significantly. I asked him where I could find toilet flappers and he went above and beyond to show me what parts I needed and to put it together with plumber's grease. It helped cut my project time in half. Really appreciated it.

Justin the manager on staff was very rude not only to us the customers but his staff. Made the poor check out lady cry because she was trying to help us. Very off putting don't want to go back to a place that treats their employees badly.

I was in the store and needed help. The manager Gary was very helpful and got Brian in the lumber department to assist me. Both men went above and beyond the normal expectation to help me.

Having an absolutely terrible experience buying automated rolling custom blinds from Home Depot for the sliding glass door in our living room, and it's still not over. The process started well. The salesperson came over, looked at our project, helped us select options, was very professional, pricing was reasonable, gave us a realistic expectation about timeline for production given supply chain challenges at the time we ordered, back in September, 2021. I don't even blame Home Depot for that timeline getting pushed in the process even later due to these issues, with the blinds finally being shipped locally the first few days of December. I do however blame Home Depot for having the worst installation team ever, and that these blinds remain sitting on our living room floor almost 2.5mos later!! That's right, we paid in full for these blinds almost six months ago, but they are in packaging in our home because they can't find an installer to call us back and get these hanging. One issue is that there is a cornice in place above the doors that can't be moved, one that will hide the roller part of the blinds that was present at the time the initial installer came to do final measurements for the blinds before the order was ever placed. I think the hope was that it could be taken down and then put back up but it appears to have been built in place at the time the house was constructed. But there is 6.5inches of clearance for a bent screwdriver or other tool that one would think is available at...well, Home Depot. And they know this because I've sent pictures to the helpful salesperson with a tape measure in the shot. Our salesperson has intervened with corporate to get a new installer assigned who reportedly is aware of the tricky install and says he can do it, but despite calls from all sides to even get an install date on the books, none of us can even get a call back. Maybe I'll update if these ever get hung. Currently I've spent thousands of dollars for an embarrassing mess on my floor.

Nothing on the shells at this location where were they were supposed to be here they told me that everything was going to be on day number 22 but when I'm with the date on the 22 it had this stuff on it that was supposed to be a number 25. I do not understand how they expect us to know where the things are of the people that work there don't even know where everything is. They made it a little bit confusing and it was frustrating
