First time hiring a van, I came early, and they were able to cancel my appointment and just give me the keys to a van, and off I went, it could not be more cut and dry. For sure, I will use the service again

U-Haul has been at the bottom rung in customer service for many years. And this location, with their manager "Donnell" is the epitome of why U-Haul is so horrible. Firstly it's important to recognize all of the extra charges that U-Haul perpetuates upon its customers which ends up doubling or tripling what you may anticipate ($25 for "unfolded" furniture pads!). Secondly, the massive prices that you pay only add insult to the injury of the awful "customer service reps" who, like at this location, basically look right through you while you're seeking their help - or don't even look up while you're looking directly at them. No smiles, no kindness, no courtesy from the vast majority of the people that we encountered at this location. Never again will we patronize U-Haul.

Make reservations and pay in advance, just so they could tell me 48 hours prior that there is no truck and the closest one is 70 miles away if I'd like to go pick up that but not reimbursing me or give me credit or making it cheaper or making a situation right

I went in for moving supplies and was instantly greeted by a very nice young lady! She was so kind and helpful! She genuinely looked like she was happy to be at work! You all have such a great worker! I thinks she's amazing! She even helped me get the boxes to my car! I hope you all appreciate her bc I sure did! Great job! Thank you!

I am using Uhaul to move from CT to AZ. Everything goes wrong and no one can help you ?♂️ working with Uhaul has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Do not use them.

Worst experience!! We reserved a truck and had a reservation guarantee however when we arrived they said the truck was checked back in but they let the person take it back out again because she left her car keys at home. The young lady at the counter called her and told us that the woman was in her way back. 45 minutes later she was still not back and they made another call to her which we could hear and she was still at home. The young lady lied to us when she told us the woman was on her way back with the truck.They couldn't honor the guaranteed reservation and refused to follow their policies.We had to go to another location across town to get a truck which took us almost an hour to get to. We lost 3 hours of our time and spent more in mileage.Don't bother making a reservation here.

These are one of the better U-Haul locations that employees actually respect you and are very friendly and I'm rude or judgmental at all I would go to this U-Haul over anyone out of all the Arizona locations

The "supervisor" Angel was disrespectful, and unprofessional to my wife when she returned to the store as directed by the staff of this location. Here's what happened....I was stranded on the side of the road, he would not rent a motorcycle trailer to my wife because the tail lights were broken on the trailers they had. So he made her wait until the morning. Morning came and he half-assed his job causing damages to our towing electrical connection. He didn't make sure the connection was tight and somewhere along the trip it gave way causing our connector to drag on the ground and break. My wife mentioned it to a staff member when we returned the trailer and he advised us to return and speak to the supervisor. So we returned and the kid told us "I didn't even connect the trailer at the time I took the photo"(I think that's a policy or something idk). Then told my wife "it's nothing that I did" she responded with "isn't it your job to make sure everything is connected before the trailer leaves the lot?" He said "well ya but the picture I took doesn't have it connected so your on your own..." What kind of business is this? In all of our years we've given uhaul our business we've never had such a bad experience with anyone.

I placed a reservation at this Uhaul for a 15' truck. When I arrived I realized that they didn't have a handicapped accessible ramp or door, and it was EXTREMELY difficult to get into the door. After entering both employees were stuffing their faces with food and didn't even greet me. They then told me my reservation was a self check-in and I needed to use my phone. I advised that I was clearly disabled and inside to just get the check-in done by them (for THEM TO DO THEIR JOB). The truck didn't have much gas in it, which is a real pain to have to worry about when you're just trying to move! The back of the truck was also dirty (unswept).When I returned the truck someone came out immediately to do the check of the truck which is was very pleased with. However, they tried to tell me that I didn't return it with the same amount of gas in it. (I took a picture of the dashboard, showing the miles and gas gage before leaving their parking lot!) So, they ended up realizing I had proof. However when I left, I realized that on my bill they charged me for the use of the hand truck (dollie) even though it was in there without a zip tie; I used my own hand truck.
