Their atm never works like never, you have to go inside if you want anything. They’ll alright inside but out of all the banks I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with this is the worst even below banks I’ve heard about being bad. This bank is the worst bank to exist. I’m tired of wasting gas time and money for this bank to act like children.

I was recommended to use UMB for a HELOC and there was great communication to start out. Then the trouble started. They opened a checking account without my knowledge or approval. Then, despite knowing my 1099 status at the beginning of the process and claiming there would be no issue with the HELOC, and after I submitted all documentation they requested, I was contacted by the lender stating I would need to provide documentation "confirming the amount of hours [I am] guaranteed to work." They very well know that my staffing agency will not provide documentation of 1099 guaranteed work. Seems like there is a real disconnect with this institution. They could have saved a lot of time and frustration if their lenders and underwriters were on the same page.
