Same Company as 500Move. Terrible. Bait and Switch company. Deceptive business practices. Liars. If you use these guys, you will be overcharged.

Don't use this company... ever. Stole my PS4 and other electronics. No help when confronting them about it. Might be cheap but you will have to make up for it with replacing your missing items !

This review is on USA Moving & Storage and 500 Move which are basically the same company, confusing I know. Before my move from Arizona to California I requested quotes using moving.com. In the time it took from clicking "get quotes" to shutting down my computer, I received a call from Shawn at "500 Move" who asked detailed questions about what all I needed shipped. After going through my extremely specific list of belongings he gave me a quote that turned out to be far cheaper than the other companies that eventually bombarded me day/night with calls. Maybe it was exhaustion from fielding so many calls and emails that I eventually decided to stop answering the unknown callers and give 500 Move a try, without paying much attention to the absolutely horrendous reviews. We set a pick-up date that was 9 days before my actual move, which made me a bit nervous, but Shawn assured me this was normal and there would be no additional charges on the pick-up day. So I began packing and getting things ready. When the movers arrived, they immediately informed me that I would be charged an additional $300 due to my "big" sectional. I told them in advance this couch was impressively large with 4 pieces, an ottoman, and 15 feet in length. After calling Shawn in a state of a shock to remind him of our specific conversation about no additional charges, he told me the mover, Rob, calculated the additional volume cost. I couldn't believe it, standing before me in my own home was a mathematical moving genius that could precisely calculate the additional charge in under 10 seconds upon entry without seeing the remaining items. Frustrated that my "big" couch alone was adding 18% more and unable to wrap my head around their proprietary calculation, we walked upstairs and went through the other items. The paintings would cost more to box so I opted for wrapping vs boxing. Rob told me that my very minimalist platform bed with no box spring and small headboard was also "big" at which point we agreed to disagree for about 10 minutes. In the end, I was not charged anything beyond the $300 and they even took $50 off after many disagreements. Now for the scary part. After signing paperwork and noticing 500 Move was indeed USA Moving & Storage, I began to search all reviews after they left. I went from being a responsible adult to a scared child, even calling my parents to complain that I'd never see my stuff again. Everyone, and I mean everyone, said their stuff arrived damaged, lost, or stolen. The claims process was a complete joke apparently. What was I going to do now? My life was over and on top of that I was already in for $1,100 and convinced this business was a complete scam. So I did what any other person would do, I went to their warehouse where my stuff was being stored prior to delivery and took back my clothes and a couple of other items. The delivery time stated 7-14 business days on average and up to 31 days so I called in advance to get an ETA on delivery day with no success. I was getting close to move-in day for my new place in California and even closer to seeking professional help for panic attacks. Might as well start shopping for all new stuff and listing out the many state & federal moving associations to file reports with I thought. But, to my surprise, I received a call the day before my move that said "we have great news" and I became absolutely speechless when they said they'll be there on my move-in day...before my arrival time even. So 2am rolls around and I'm driving to California to beat my own movers. They show up about an hour late (completely fine) and I'm assuming they won't lift a finger until I pay them $700 in cash on the remaining balance based on reviews. These guys didn't ask for money. They let me see my stuff, moved it all into my new place, set everything up, took care of the trash, and I practically had to remind them I still

PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, THEY ARE TRUE. These crooks are also know as 500move.com Do not use them even if they are the last movers on earth. The delivery guys showed up in a U HAUL van, they did not work directly for the company I hired as I was told by Shawn, they would not accept they payment method I was told we could use, there were items missing and damaged and their clams department will never call you back. Just like the other reviews state they will give you one price and then it doubles once they show up. I now know why the changed their name. THEY ARE CROOKS.

Moved from California to Oregon. Team arrived late, but did a good job packing everything up. Our stuff was placed in long term storage. I'll never forget delivery day, it was devastating; opening box after box and finding all our possessions completely destroyed. Anything of value was conveniently missing. You can tell someone went through our stuff, things weren't packaged as they were. Customer Service was a joke. Claim process was a joke. Company operates under multiple names.

I moved from Tempe AZ to Worcester MA and I would give 0.5 star, Initially you will get attracted with the quote price. Later on they will keep adding charges. Initial quote for me was $1500. Once everything was picked up, I didn't got any reply to my email or phone calls regarding delivery. They told me to pay $250 extra to expedite the delivery, than charged me $250 more for shuttle service, than charged another $75 because delivery distance was more than 75 feet. I ended up paying $2075. Yes, they are broker and pickup and delivery are done with different companies.

I got about 15 different estimates for my move from Austin TX to Tucson, non of them were close to the deal I got with this company... about 700 dollars less expensive than the second best quote I got. They picked my things up and delivered them very quickly and efficiently. they are professionals and I recommend them to anyone looking for a move.. A+ thank you very much!

Beware of these guys. They are not actual movers, it is a broker company. Moved from Phoenix to Ohio. They promised to deliver the shipment in 1 to 2 weeks. I had me and another friend of mine who moved together from Phoenix to Ohio at the same time, hence we clubbed our order as one, However, we requested two separate receipts splitting into two. The phone representative agreed to it. There was no news after the pick up for a week. When i called them, they said they were going to ship it the coming weekend (two weeks already from the date of pickup). Then they took additional two weeks to deliver. The truck driver and his assistant who delivered were from different shipping company. They were very polite and friendly. They took care of moving the boxes to the third floor safely. However, i was surprised when the receipt was provided for the whole amount on my name. The delivery guys told me that they don't have any other paper work and asked me to call the USA moving company. When i called them, the office assistant was not even sure what i was asking her. She further delayed sending me the incorrect receipts for 2 days. I had called them multiple times to get the receipts. Please do not opt for this company. they would charge you more by the time of pickup / delivery. Which they did to me when they picked up. Will not recommend this company at all. Do not fall for the sales people when they offer you cheap quotes. BEWARE !!!! Thanks

These people are EXTREMELY dishonest and it's unbelievable they are still in business. I fault myself for not doing research. I've moved with movers 7 times in the last 8 years, so I know the process well and this is hands down, the worst company I have ever dealt with. ZERO INTEGRITY. They more than doubled the cost of my move and on top of that my shipment arrived several weeks later than scheduled. I have learned my lesson and will research more thoroughly and never try to cut costs again related to moves, especially because I could have paid for pack and move at the rate they ended up charging me.

I recently relocated to Chicago from Phoenix and booked this company to move my things. I was quoted a price of $1100.00 and when they showed up to my condo, the price suddenly went to over $1,600.00. I worked with Raymond and he failed to mention that my things would be itemized. For example, the mover said it would be an extra $65.00 to move a chair that weighed less than 15lbs. It got to the point where I was asking how much it would be to ship m iron and ironing board. My furniture and other household items were picked up on April 1st and did not arrive in IL until 04/25/2013 (mind you, my things were sitting in a warehouse from 04/01 until 04/20). This company is HORRIBLE. Definitely did not get what I paid for. As a result of the ever increasing price, I was FORCED to leave a lot of stuff at my dad's house in Phoenix that I need. Lastly, after my furniture was delivered, I noticed that my bed frame was set up incorrectly, so now after almost of month of sleeping on an air mattress, I can't even sleep in my bed. I am beyond irritated and upset. I will be making a call to the BBB today.

I moved twice in the past year and the first move was from Virginia to California. I used a different moving company and should have stuck with them as they were timely, cost competitive and everything was received with no damage. I used 1st Moving and Storage to move recently from Irvine, CA to Chandler, AZ and they were awful. They picked up all my furniture in a Budget rental truck and then moved it all to another trailer and company who delivered my furniture, although on-time, with much damage. A $500 marble coffee table had been dropped and totally destroyed; a wall mirror broken, canvas painting packed incorrectly so permanent creases were left behind and they tore 5 of 6 leather dining room chairs. The nicked my front door bringing in the furniture and lost an important piece to an outdoor fountain. While negotiating the contract, I always seemed to get someone to answer the phone but when I call to talk about the damages, I only get voice messages. I only spoke to customer service once who simply gave me the instructions on how to file a claim. They are offering $81. I paid $3300 for the move and the driver at pick-up had the nerve to tell me how much I should tip. My advise is to take out separate insurance as most companies only pay 60 cents on the pound and second , do not use 1st Moving and Storage. Their prices are not that great, they take no care for your property and customer service is terrible.

wow... shady businesses! who can you trust? i should have done my due diligence and checked yelp! and the bbb! i used a on line service to look for a interstate moving company to bring my niece back home to california because her dad has brain cancer. this company replied to my inquiry about moving her home back to california. my rep shawn at 877 500 6683 ext 211 sound professional and legit. he took most of the information i had down and quoted a price to do the job for around $1900. great i thought, so i told him that my niece would contact him regarding more details of the home. as they spoke, they did a good ol' fashion switch and bait. the job went all the way up to over 3000. when my niece started to ask questions, they gave her a hard time and then just hung up..... wtf!!!! stay away from these guys. bad news! bbb rated them a "f". i rate my self a "d" for not doing my due diligence and a "s" for almost being a sucker and getting my family into trouble. they have several names and numbers. be aware!!! stay clear! 1 877 500 6683 602 353 0700
