Title: Disappointed – Passport Photo Rejected
Review:
I recently had my passport photo taken at USPS, expecting it to meet all the official requirements. Unfortunately, the photo was rejected when I submitted my passport application. The rejection notice cited issues like improper sizing and incorrect head positioning—something I assumed a USPS facility would be trained to get right.
It’s frustrating because I trusted a government-affiliated service for something so specific and important. Now I have to retake the photo, resubmit my application, and potentially face delays. For a service that charges extra, I expected better quality control.
I’d recommend verifying your photo yourself or going to a specialized passport photo provider with a better track record.

Package states delivered and it was not. They lose so many items. The older white man asked what was in the package. Why is that relevant or any of his business?
WORST post office in the United States!!! Literally incompetent. I asked for my package to be redelivered to my front door and I received a condescending voicemail from Chris stating that the reason my package can’t be delivered is because the mail panel is broken, which is exactly why I requested “front door” as the delivery spot. Stop treating people like they are stupid when you don’t even pay attention. This post office sucks and there is an issue every time I have to go in there. They just make everything difficult. Go to the post office in Tempe if possible, they get things done and are intelligent.

Great post office and kind workers. The ladies always have a smile and great attitude despite long lines at times. I wish the outside box wasn’t so terrible, but what can you do.

Today, June 10th, 2025 at about 11:45 am an employee went in to mail 8 certified items and ended up being told to leave and not to come back. My, employee is not a confrontational person, so there was nothing he said or did that would put this person in a bad mood, he even apologized, knowing the certified mail takes a little longer. But my employee was doing his job trying to mail things that we have asked the post office if we could do anything to make it more efficient for them and they said no. Now we have a postal worker that doesn’t want to do their job and must be a very unhappy person and SHOULD NOT be working with the public. Really disappointed with this post office allowing a disgruntled person to treat our employee or anyone with the disrespect that they did. I would actually give them a negative rating if I could.

The postal staff at this location are always polite and take as much as time as you need for explanations. Today Victoria was particularly nice and helpful.

Good luck ever getting anyone to answer the phone to help you they are as bad as our mailman. I put in for a change of address and I’ve been getting mail forwarded, but he decided just to go ahead and leave a package in the mailbox . I now have tried three days to contact the office. I would go there, but I’ve left the state.
I called the USPS 800 number and they were no better they said to contact my local office.
Terrible post office

I called 4:25pm and they hung up on me all 4 times I called. I was calling because a certified letter was not delivered to texas and the letter was addressed to a party in Texas. the post office delivered the papers to an address in Arizona. This was a $30 dollar certified return reciept, specific person signature only letter and they messed that up too.

This is a great location. The staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside is the parking lot is kind of confusing with so many one ways.

The mail carrier left a bin of mail on top of the boxes overnight. Tried to call the Ahwaukee post office to report but no one answers. So much for locking mailboxes

How this location gets any negative reviews is completely beyond me. I ship on average 400 packages per month, and come into the post office about 4-5 days per week and every single person who works at this location has been *consistently* friendly, helpful, pleasant to deal with, and patient. I've seen reviews that blame the staff for USPS tracking glitches or things *beyond the staff's control* but in my dealings with them, they've been immeasurably stellar. I adore them AND this location.

Only use this post office during business hours. After hours drops DO NOT open there is no place to drop your package for pick up. All free boxes are locked inside main office. Employees are nice and helpful here just those couple things.
