We just got married at the Valley Garden Center and are so happy that we chose it as our venue for so many reasons…The outside area is well taken care of and absolutely beautiful. There is SO much space outside which was nice for people to have room and do their own thing if they wanted. They were not strict or stingy with their rules and were so incredibly helpful with any questions/concerns that we had every step of the way. You can feel the love/good vibes here. If you are considering getting married here (or having any kind of event) it is a wonderful choice.

Although I didn't end up choosing this venue, it left a lasting impression on my mother and I. The host is so kind and accommodating, she replied very fast to my inquiry and got us in for a tour since our date was going fast.If you're looking for somewhere beautiful/art deco/ vintage and unique garden for your wedding then this is it for you! And totally budget friendly!

Let me start by saying Anne Marie was available to help onsite during our event and she was delightful and incredibly helpful. The venue is decent, but what used to make it worth booking was the customer service. I originally booked my event with John, who has since been let go. Several of the positive reviews specifically mention John and it is clear that he was an asset to the venue. Clyde is the new manager and he has refused to honor any of the agreements John made with customers. He is incredibly rude, unreasonable, and difficult to work with. He is also rude to the staff who work for him. Aside form Clyde, be aware that the venue is advertised to hold 150. It might if you don't have a buffet, DJ, bar, dance floor, or dessert table. With those things, it will not seat 150. The parking lot is also much too small. We only had about 110 people, and probably half that number of cars and people had to park in the street, which prompted someone from the neighborhood to barge into our event and demand people move cars. Along those lines, the cop that we were required to hire and who the venue booked on our behalf did not stop this person from entering and spent the vast majority of the evening sitting in the office. I'm not sure what she was supposed to be doing, but I only saw her outside of the office once all night. Overall, unless they remove Clyde and replace him with someone who values the venue and its customers, I would not recommend this place any more.

When I booked I originally booked with a nice old man named John. He made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. He even agreed to let me in an hr early since I had so much decorating to do. As the time approached I no longer was able to get a hold of him, instead some rude lady only answering by email names ALISON no longer would honor me coming in a lil early. She says PER YOUR CONTRACT entrance is at 8am and just the way she writes her emails you can definitely tell she isn't very pleasant to work with ! She wouldn't answer a text or phone call. Too bad I was tied in already and a week out or she would make me re consider my options. I was already set on coming in to this place with bad energy and my party behind schedule and feeling like my event is ruined with her bad attitude. Although I'm sad John is no longer there, I was so happy to be greeting by ANA AND RICK who were new managers they very nice, pleasant, so welcoming and helpful. Make sure the dressing room and kitchen essentials are in your contract for use they almost wouldn't honor that either.Everything was locked when we got there. THANK YOU ANA AND RICK FOR MAKING THIS EVENT AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE ON AUGUST 6 am. Unlocking the coffee maker and dressing room since it was promised to me. It meant so much to me to still be able to get ready after sweating to decorate.MY EVENT WAS SUCCESSFUL after all thanks to them!

Valley Garden Center in central Phoenix is a true hidden "wedding venue" gem. Despite being just a 5-minute drive from downtown, the abundance of plants and trees creates an atmosphere that feels miles away. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful and impeccably maintained. What makes it even more special is that it is a non-profit wedding venue, offering a stunning outdoor setting and dedicated caretakers who go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. They even set up extra chairs at the last minute when 20 additional guests arrived for our 150-person ceremony. The mature trees provided ample shade for most of our guests, and the highlight for many was the enchanting goldfish pond that delighted all the kids.

Such a cute place to have events! I liked that there is a lot of shrubs and trees. There is even a little pond with coy fish!

Wonderful Venue with a great outdoor Ceremony spot shaded by a huge Mesquite Tree, A Koi Pond and Lush Landscaping. If done up right the inside area can be incredible with their String lighting in the Main Room. The staff there with John is incredibly accommodating and very flexible and easy to work with. Recommend this Venue Highly!

This was my first time at this venue. It is absolutely beautiful set in a quaint old community. It isn't huge so you'd have to see it to determine if you event would fit. The parking lot is small but verify for yourself, but I think there was no problem with some of the attendees parking on the street.

Only one pair of bathrooms for the entire venue; there was always a wait. A bar height wall with glass separates the main space which limits what you can see when the main attraction is in the other room. The back of the building did have a beautiful setting with large trees, coy pond and plenty of space to walk about.

The Valley Garden Center was the perfect place to hold our wedding ceremony and reception this October! It was extremely affordable and they allowed for so much customization for our event. The gardens themselves are so beautiful, with a koi pond, a little Japanese tea house, and a beautiful and massive mesquite tree that we held our ceremony under. (The oldest in Arizona, we were told! :) ) John, Allison, and everyone at the center were so friendly and helpful and we would recommend them to anyone who wants an affordable, easy, and personal experience for their wedding or other event.

Management , John, is super kind and easy going. Super cute place. Our guests continue to talk about it and how beautiful of an environment it was.
