Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The pepperoni pizza was warm but the end crust was burned. Maybe just an off day?

Great pizza. I try to figure out a way to stop here for a slice when I'm around downtown.

One of the better slice shops in Phoenix! I particularly enjoy the Phoenix pie and the Vodka pie. Wait times can be pretty lengthy during weekday lunch rushes. Don’t sleep on the ube cannoli if they have it- it’s worth the trip for that dessert alone!

It's a wonderful restaurant downtown that I wouldn't have known about. Except for someone else told me it was wonderful. The hot honeywings are the best and the size is wonderful. If you need an extra large pizza they've got it.

I travel the country a lot, and this is by far one of the beat slices I've ever had. For sure going to be a must visit every time I'm in town.

Ok so I’ve been eating here since you guys opened. Hands down the best pizza in Phoenix. That being said the last two times I’ve eaten here my pizza wasn’t hot. First time it happened went to the counter and said I would like pizza hotter and they said they can’t take food back for health reasons(already knew this.) What they should have done is offered to remake new slices, but whatever, not the end of the world. Today I was served with slices that weren’t hot again. Should I ask for my slices to be well done? Not sure how to go about it but I would like my slices hot!Regardless, still love this place, the pizza, wings, sandwiches, everything. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out.

spicy sausage slice was good.. but the grandma slice was burnt to a crisp. I waited for this slice too. Heard a lot of good things about this place I don’t think I’ll be back my gums hurt from trying to bite this burnt ‘deep dish’ lol

I'm a pizza nerd. Best ever is Regina's in Boston's North End. Here in Phoenix, Grimaldi's, from Brooklyn, is the best. When cooked properly, it's an 8.5. The only other pizza in the valley that can score an 8 or more is Villa Della. I give it an 8. Classic what-I-call "Italian-American" pizza. Rich, aged mozzarella. Great dough cooked to a proper char. They add a little fresh basil and grated cheese on top, which is fine, but it would still be an 8 without. Nice job, folks! Please put one in Scottsdale!

Pizzaria Bianco, Ziggys, Spinatos, step aside. Via Della is the best slice I have ever had in my life. The minute I took a bite into the Di Parma, I think I met God. If the slice wasn't enough (it was the portion sizes are generous and you get what you pay for when it comes to quality and quantity) the service was amazing, very friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Great drink selections and I guarantee there is a slice for anybody's taste. I have had great pizza, I have made great pizzas, but Via Della is the best pizza I have had in my entire life. 5 stars.

And the prices can't be beat. Nice location downtown and close to all the venues. Wonderful old building away from the main street.
