I had a flat tire on a brand new car. First time calling Virginia Auto Service, as they’re nearby to my house. They got me in same day, found a screw in the tire, patched it for a very reasonable price and I was back on the road that evening. Michelle up front is wonderful!

Had Toyota Solara convertible in for problem with automated windows. Turned out rear window had leaked during rainstorm and module that controls top and windows got wet and partially failed. Tried to get insurance to cover, which meant a long wait. VA provided a free loaner for almost 3 weeks while we waited for insurance assessor to show up. Claim was denied but I was able to work with VA to find a used replacement part to get the cost down.

I recently had my control arm bushings replaced here along with a wheel alignment and I am very satisfied with the experience. The staff are super nice and helpful, and they even arranged an Uber for me while I was waiting for the service to be completed. I will definitely come to them again when I need service on my Subaru.

A coupon in the mail led us to what is now our trusted neighborhood mechanic. The staff is respectful, courteous and responsive. Virginia Auto is now our first call for our service needs!

The staff is all so sweet and friendly. Very personable and kind. I wanted to love this shop but the prices are nearly double what I was quoted at other auto shops in the area. I appreciate the time and quality customer service they provided.
They did mention that part of the price was for the manufacturer’s part rather than after market, but for an expansion valve that is only about $50 more, when I was quoted $1,300 for the replacement and evac/recharge.
They did provide an accurate diagnosis for the cost of $250 (separate than the repair) for my A/C issue. They also got me a ride home with uber which was very nice. Due to budget though, I had to get the repair done elsewhere.
Overall, if you value excellent customer service as your top priority, this is one of the top auto shops in the area. They have a family vibe and sent follow up texts and a letter with a discount in the mail. However, if affordable pricing is a top priority, it may be better to go elsewhere.

Virginia Auto Service is the best auto repair shop that I have ever gone to. They listen to what my concerns are and try to find what is causing my car's problems. They do not do unnecessary work. They just do what is necessary to resolve my car's problem.
