Everyone was friendly and helpful from the time we walked in. Exam was quick and thorough, picked frames, and we were done. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this location. We went to location on east Camelback first and do not reccomend.

Everyone that I came in contact with was friendly & knowledgeable. They were timely & considerate, answering all questions & concerns. The exam seemed very thorough & covered all parts of my current eyesight. I won;t receive the glasses until Sept. 6, but if they go along with the service I received, there shouldn't be a problem.

Dr was amazing, got all of us a better prescription and held awesomeness conversations. Check in was easy and reception was so nice. Then the experience with our purchases was also very pleasant. Friendly, knowledge folks. Happy we came to this location

Visionworks is terrible. I like the doctor but he's a contractor who's actually not with the practice. At least I got a prescription to take with me somewhere else. I asked them prior to going in, what will my co-pay be and they said zero for the exam. Then what will the frames be? Zero. For all the B.S. they put into the lens, $599, then insurance pays $212. I asked 3times what's my responsibility for payment after sitting there for 20 mins. I was getting numbers like $40, $0... a seasoned person would say "let me get you a number..." Sales, Sales, Sales. And, apparently they did the billing for it incorrectly for my 2022 claim and then they have since cleared out their entire computer system. My insurance from last year has been contacting me. When I asked for a copy, they said they wouldn't give it to me and I had to call tech-support. The older sales person was very dismissive. She gave me the 800 but I'm positive the 800 is going to have me go back to the store because they processed the transaction. That will be my last trip over to Visionworks for eyeglasses. Unfortunately because they're classic "Scottsfail" and don't know what they're doing I'm sure I'll be back.

At the doctor's suggestion I changed contact brands. The new brand of contacts were terrible. Ripping after a few days and very uncomfortable. I always order 6 months worth so as soon as they were done I called to have the brand changed back to what I had happily worn for 15 years and 1st was told that requires a new prescription entirely and that I would need to come back in for another full appointment. My prescription was only 5.5 months old. I questioned this and they backpedaled (what about those who wouldn't push back?) and then I was told that I still needed to come in or else they wouldn't change the brand of contacts, although the doctor told me at the time "call if you have any issues and we can change it". I have two young children and coming back in for a brand change isn't easy. I won't go to a doctor who holds you hostage.

Great & friendly staff. I would highly recommend it. The doctor actually listens and educates. Donna was fantastic! She was knowledgeable and so fun. I had to adjust my glasses a couple of times and no charge.

Store isn't usually crazy busy but when I went on 6-19-23 it was busy in the back and the front but my wife and I both got into our appointments on time and didn't take long. Wish I was better with names but everyone who helped us was great from the reception to the doctor to the specialist up front helping pick out and purchase frames and lenses. See you next time!

I was taken care of professionally with Donna. I felt extremely comfortable and in good hands with her! The store has a great selection of frames To choose from. When I need glasses again I will go back!

I decided to schedule my Annual Eye Exam with VisionWorks at Village Square (Cactus, south of Tatum) because it was convenient to my home. My appt was at 10am and they said to arrive 10 minutes early. I arrived at 9:45am and the door was locked. I could see the Staff inside but no one opened the door before 10am (they told me to arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork). I had asked how long the appt takes, I was told about 20 minutes so planned on 40 then had a meeting across town. Check out ladies were quick to take my money and send me on my way if they had any idea I wasn't purchasing today. Check in gals were nice, assistant ok, the doctor very quick. Changed my RX a little from last year. Next day I went to Costco for groceries, checked out the frames, (plus a sale going on) and purchased 2 pair of "workstation" glasses because that was the kind Visionworks suggested and it made sense to me. Picked up a pair on Wed and wore a little that night and the next day some.On Friday morning while getting ready for work, I saw flashes and floaters on the right side of my right eye. Concerned, I made calls to try to get in to an Ophthalmologist but they were all booked or closed so I asked what do they recommend. Since I know the ER wouldn't be able to help, they suggested I call Visionworks, so I did. The Receptionist took a very detailed message and said she would give it to the doctors when they returned from lunch in 20 minutes. I never received a call and it's been almost 4 weeks.DON'T GO THERE, THEY JUST CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER IN MY OPINION. THEY DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING A PURCHASE RIGHT THEN.

I’ve been coming to this location since they were located inside the mall and my experience is phenomenal every time. It’s always fast and I love that they still take the time to ensure health and safety. This year in particular, the frame selection was really good so I was happy about that. I actually let the staff help me pick out a frame this time (normally I’m too shy) and they were AMAZING. The eye dr. always takes time to ask about my health in general so it feels good to know he cares. Thank you!!
