This review is for the pharmacy and their VERY SLOW movement. I never thought I would wait almost 30 minutes in the drive thru line when there is literally only two people in front of me. I also got my flu shot here 2 weeks ago and had a scheduled appointment at 3 and wasn't seen until almost 3:30. It's almost like they don't have the motivation for the day.

Hours posted are not accurate. Even the sign outside says they open at 8am on Sunday and I walked up at 830 with locked doors. CVS is open up the road.

10 mins to 8pm drive thru blinds closed and I can see someone behind doing something. Park and go inside. All locked down. Honor your hours. It matters.

Walgreens at Tatum and Greenway is one of the best pharmacy’s out there! The leaves pharmacist/manager “Jake” is incredibly talented and caring. He has now given me three vaccinations over the course of the last three months and each one has been seamless, painless, and actually if you can believe it, enjoyable!Jake even double masks for me because I’m immuno suppressed. He’s truly amazing. Thank you so much for having such a great pharmacist/manager at this location. I’m now officially a raving fan. - R.Simon

My father has more health issues than any one person should have. We, as a family, recently had Hospice of the Valley get involved in his care. Jake, a Walgreens pharmacist, reached out to me to go over my fathers medications, too insure my dad was getting the prescriptions needed. Compassion, concern, educated questions, questions for clarity. With great appreciation for Jake, the staff and for Walgreens for the services they provide. A GOLD STAR rating from our family!!!! Amazing store! Great pharmacy and front end team! They also have a primary care provider in the building and can work with your pharmacist as part of your healthcare team. Love the folks here and everything Walgreens has to offer. Check them out!

Came here first thing for my pneumonia vaccine today. The Staff was ready and waiting as it was not yet crazy busy. The reception person was helpful and then we learned that I did not know which iteration of the vaccine I needed.Thomas Shaw was the Pharmacist on duty and could not have been more helpful, genuine, earnest and more as he did some research about the two vaccines and someone my age.Thankfully it was not busy yet as this took almost 30 minutes as I would go to the car and double check this with my wife.BTW, this is a VERY clean store and even the young man at the front cashier was so friendly.Yet it was Thomas Shaw who displayed a great deal of emotional intelligence in helping me sort this out.My wife reached my MD's office and they shared their recommendation and Thomas then prepped the vaccine and administered it.Outstanding Team and crazy good Pharmacist!

It's really a shame with the lack of customer service and making a profit off customers for the flu vaccine. October 4th Tuesday, 2022 I walked into the local Walgreens off of Greenway Rd andTatum Blvd. I asked the pharmacy department if they could administer a flu vaccination ? The response I got back was did you make an appointment online? I replied back the past two years. I've always come in here and paid over $20 for the vaccine, and there was no waiting list or a requirement to make an appointment. Sure enough this year they turned me away. After experiencing such shitty customer service I went across the street to the local Safeway Grocery store and spoke with the staff in the Safeway Pharmacy Department. Sure enough zero waiting list and zero requirement to schedule an appointment online and they did it for free without even asking me what type of insurance do I have? This is a prime example of a company that cares about their customers versus a company that doesn't give a crap and it's all about inconveniencing you and making money at the same time by charging you for the vaccine. Shame on Walgreens.

Do not go here. I switched to this location from previously going to Tatum and Shea because that place was horrible, but this one is just as bad. Customer service is crap. This place is incompetent. They called and said our prescriptions were ready for pickup. We go there a few days later and after a long wait they say they are not ready and come back later (from a rude pharmacy tech who seemed so inconvenienced to do her job). I will gladly go further out of my way and take my money and business elsewhere other than Walgreens. I recommend others do the same

You confirm your pharmacy hours a week ago. You confirmed the wrong times you are open. If you are not capable or even aware of wrongly listing your hours of operations you sure should not be distributing drugs. What an absolute joke this is. Your the only ones who know when you open and close. Taking our business elsewhere.

THEY CAN IMPROVE ON SAFETY: On June 2nd 2022, I went to pick up prescription for fentanyl patch. When I got at the pharmacy, I was given a bag that was stapled. I was in a hurry as the drugs were for my sister who was in a lot of pain. When I got home, I had fentanyl patches narcan spray, zofran. I was shocked that none of the pharmacy staff offered instruction on how to use this medication. Thankfully I am a nurse, and my patient is a nurse too. This is unsafe. Secondly, when you get prescription you don't need you cannot return it. Otherwise they are polite and the place is clean.
