There is a pharmacist here that looks very disshoveled, messy, long hair, patchy beard. Like he woke up and didnt take a shower. He has a horrible attitude. Before helping us, he was on the phone, rolling his eyes at patients and laughing and mocking them with his lips. Looking extremely annoyed.
We came to pick up a rx for our infant son. We asked to speak to the pharmacist to see if there were any issues with taking this rx. He picked up the phone looking at us annoyed. Didn't go through anything with us. He looks confused like he doesnt know what he is doing. Then handed the phone back to the lady. She hands the phone back to him and he reads rhe label and hands it back to the lady.
They didnt give us the syringe for administrating the rx.
If everything switches to computer or AI , this would be a reason. Decline of professionalism

Last minute switch of pharmacies as I was headed out of town and mine was closed. They were friendly and had quick service.

Always a pleasure dealing with the staff and pharmacist.

Super unprofessional. I called multiple times and kept being left on hold for 20-30 minutes and then kept being hung up on. 0 stars if I could.

I received a call around 11am stating my prescription was ready and could be picked up anytime until 9pm that day or after 9am the next morning. I thought “great, I’ll pick it up on the way to the airport this afternoon.” Never in my life have a seen a pharmacy that closes for 30 minutes in the middle of the day but that’s what these incompetents do every day, and of course right while I’m on my way out of town. What a hassle it will be to get the prescription transferred to another state. This poor customer service is why mail-order pharmacies are putting the bricks & mortar places out of business.
Avoid this location at all costs!

Have had many of the same problems I’ve read on these posts. I get text messages to pick up rx, only to drive there and they say it’s not yet in the building. Come back tomorrow. I changed Pharmacys 60 days ago. I did it in person at that Walgreens and they keep calling me to pick up meds……..tried calling them, but they never answer.

Hands down the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I didn't even know you could have problems with the pharmacy. Just when you think everything that could have possibly happened has happened. They'll surprise you with more

Optum, a parasitic institution, obliges its clients to use only Walgreens pharmacy( like in communism), therefore there is no incentive for Walgreens to do a better job because their clientele is already assured. That's why they are never staffed, they have rude representatives, bluntly expressing that they don't care. Since they don't care about public opinion is time to report them to Arizona Attorney General.

The absolute worst and only getting more terrible. I know the pharmacy is understaffed but they never, never, never have the medicine in house and everything is always "backordered". No communication unless you turn into a stalker, calling and being put on hold. Sometimes when I've been on hold I've actually driven there only to see minimal staff.
I get it, I know it is hard to find help. But honestly today my doctor called in a must need antibiotic, called back at noon to see if it had come in their daily order and essentially was told to call around to other drugstores to see if they had in stock. The Anthem Walgreens said that was super weird, this particular drug is pretty common and should have on hand. I wonder if they don't have a licensed pharmacist and have to have everything filled offsite.

Went in for online vaccination appointment on Saturday 2/17 1:00pm, patient forms filled online. When arrived, was told by pharmacy technicians that they are too busy to give me the shot. This is not acceptable in my opinion, either you close the appointment slots or text, email it’s cancelled. Horrible experience

If you have a loved one that is diagnosed with cancer of any kind and need to have pain prescriptions filled,DO NOT GO TO WALGREENS ON 27th ave and carefree highway if you do you will be treated like you were an OXY addict that is Dr. shopping! My mother had valid prescriptions sent to this pharmacy for a fentanyl patch an oxycodone to treat stage four pancreatic cancer they denied her the fentanyl patch said that they had faxed to the doctor to make sure it was OK to issue both... They say they have to have the doctor say it's OK... No problem issuing the oxycodone but they can't do balls apparently four weeks later my mother still doesn't have her pain medication and I am still being treated like I am some sort of freaking addict! This pharmacy and the text that they have there have absolutely no concept of how to treat a cancer patient that is dying literally before them! They need to be given training regarding exactly how many doctors terminal cancer patients have and how many different agencies are likely to be issuing pain prescriptions to manage the pain! I am having all of our prescriptions removed from this pharmacy I have never been treated more poorly and in more of a derogatory manner ever in my entire life!
