I called Walmart Pharmacy today, 12/27/23, about 30 minutes ago. I was told, “we have one caller ahead of you please hold”. I was on hold for 32 minutes. Thank goodness I was already driving here from work and I stayed on hold until I got all the way in line for the pharmacy counter. As I stand here, I am watching the two male associates in the back chit chat and laugh while working on their computers and one other female associate working on a computer. Nobody on the phones. Then someone picks up the phone and hangs it up resulting in my call being disconnected.Why am I not surprised? Place a customer on hold and hope they hang up must be the new normal.

The insulin pens that I’ve ordered (and needed) for my elderly cat (also on relatively short notice) have been made available quickly and at very competitive prices; along with this, the pharmacists who have assisted me (both over the phone and in person) have been very helpful and professional during every single interaction. Great job!

I get a lot of broken pills from this Wal-Mart, but my real issue with this pharmacy is that round lady with too many earrings. She is one of the rudest people I have ever met. It's like she is having a bad day every day. If public service isn't her thing, I don't understand why be part of it then? Especially when sick people come to get their medicine. It sucks to be sick and is so much worse when you have to deal with nonsense.The small girl with glasses is really good. Always with a warm smile and friendly demeanor whereas the other one seems very hostile and judgy. Every time I go, I pray I get glasses girl or the beard guy over the living embodiment of Bridget from Trolls, the movie. Do better.

I’ve used other pharmacy’s and honestly this one is the best one in my opinion. Omar is always the sweetest and always willing to help when it comes to filling my prescriptions. Truly grateful for always get the best customer service from Omar, Monica and the rest of the staff there.

Grateful that there are still people who are willing to help people in need. My dad had a couple of heart procedures yesterday and couldn’t pick up his meds and Ryan generously solved the problem of getting the critical meds to my Dad today. Grateful to Ryan and his manager for helping out another human in need. They didn’t need to do this. But will be forever grateful to them. Thank you very very much Ryan, to you and your boss!!!

The new pharmacists is rude and stuck up the old one needs to come back i have had 0 good conversations with this new guy and now they have lost a customer damn this pharmacy used to be amazing

I've unfortunately been left with an insurmountable feeling of grief, unreliability, and disappointment. The staff here at the local Walmart pharmacy here in Tolleson is lacking in some areas of customer service, and mostly in the areas of compassion and understanding within those lines! I do have hope for Phoenix store 5331 though, and see my experience can hopefully be seen and used as a teachable moment when, starting first with Pharmacist on staff Mrs. Makenzie who's impatience, disconnect, and demeanor that's falls nothing short of crass, down to her younger techs that may indeed follow her by example like most younger professionals do, can be rehauled, either through a Customer compassion seminar, or even at its most severe an entirely new staff. My negative reoccurring experiences with my store's specific staff and location aren't just the incompetences, yet more to do with being shouted at to get out of the way and sit down by Walmarts trusted pharmacist from across its enclosure while there is no line or volume issues that would justify such behavior. I guess you could say this department may need some education on voice inflection. After attempting to again retrieve my pharmaceuticals from Pharmacist Makenzie's location, I will continue to use my local grocer's for any future medicines as I am a loyal consumer yet wanted to give Walmarts lower prices a try, until I witnessed just at what cost they come at. Included in contacting Walmarts Corporate officer for this district I will also be attaching this review to any and all local and outside Walmart locations. Unfathomly disappointed and mistreated........Signed,

Terrible customer service. They are not willing to take their time to properly assist a customer. This is not my first time being treated rudely, and I rarely write reviews. First time I was denied the ability to use Good Rx coupon by Mickey when I have never had a problem using it, and second time I stopped being attended by employee Monica becuse it was closing time and shut the door in my face. These two people are super rude and do not care about good customer service. Important for people to look for another pharmacy in which employees are polite and are willing to take their time to assist you. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as “0 stars review†â€â™€ï¸
