I love that it is open 24/7 but I mean come on you are a huge corporation, I get up to the cashier after buying quite a bit of groceries and go to pay with my credit card because that was the only card I had brought, only for them to tell me I can't use credit, if that's the case let it be know and make the consumer aware before they load up on groceries!!! I was so upset with my experience solely based on that.

I've only been to a Winco once my entire life and I can't wait to go back. Everything we got from here was so good. I can't get over how amazing the eggs are from here. They just tasted so much better than any other eggs I've ever gotten. Also they had Hawaiian han at the deli and it was hands down the best ham I've ever tasted. The place is super clean, but I wouldn't recommend using the restroom here cause it seemed dirty and smelled horribleI still go, but only sometimes because it's so far from me. It's still my favorite store though.

Such a hidden gem, a great place to shop. It's out of the way for me, but I plan my trip, so it is worthwhile. I wish they would bring one to Scottsdale, but that probably will not happen. They serve a diverse client base, so their food selection is more diverse. There is a great fruit and vegetable section, and the cereal aisle has it all (hot and cold). The bakery is loaded with sweet treats, and they have a large liquor and wine section. The store is clean but often cold. Prices are very good, and I can generally find the items I want. As with any grocery store, not all items are a deal, so you must shop wisely. There are both self-checkout registers and employee cashier lanes.

Immeeeeean....its a grocery store. What do you expect? There was food. There were people who drove down the middle line and there were kids running in front of the cart. It's all I expected.

Place smells like sewage because management is to lazy to pay to fix the trash compactors. So now they just leave trash in piles. Most 5 star reviews from the past month aren't real the management is willing to pay for good reviews or ask friends to put them in to prevent their store image from looking bad to their boss ? this place sucks and needs new management bad, who they have now aren't fit to run anything. If they can they should go back to who used to run the store.

Over all I am a fan of the WinCo company. But on an individual bases this store sucks. I am have been coming here for years and over the past year or so the store has gone down hill. Every time I go early in the mornings there are carts all over and it is hard to find an open spot to park. Yes I know customers out them there but it is the stores responsibility to collect them. When you get inside there has become a horrible sewage smell. The floors are so dirty that there is clutter from the prev8ua day. I have addressed this to management twice in the past and yet nothing has been done. Sorry to see this .

Worse Winco I've ever been too in my life! I went to this Winco and checked out around 3 35pm on 11/12/2023 and the cashier that day was Kathleen, I've never been treated so disrespectfully and horribly by any employee at a Winco ever until I encountered this person. I was putting my items on the belt and had 2 go backs, I politely asked Kathleen if she can put my items back that I decided not to get that day she took the items and proceeded to say that she had no where to place them, I politely apologized to her mind you someone in front of me also had asked her to put her go backs away as well but I didn't hear her say anything to her at all so as she proceeded to scan my items I was still unloading my groceries, she then looked at me and said very rudely: you need to come around and start bagging these items, I then responded I'm still unloading my groceries on the belt and I have no one to help me but I'm almost done. She then proceeded to scan my items with a attitude and then said well you need to come around and bag these items. I then responded to her that she doesn't have to be rude and to please give me your manager, she then proceeded to tell me to quit lying on her and to quit making things up and then began throwing my items across the scanner and tossing it, the customers behind me saw how she was treating me as well, she then hit the total button without ringing up 2 more of my items and then I asked her for her manager and she said you go get her yourself, the customers behind me went and got the manager for me, I told Kathleen that she needed to ring up my additional 2 items that she haven't done yet, she then rang up those items and I paid for my first order because I had another separate order. After I paid for that order she then threw my receipt directly at me and then began ringing up my second order. The customers behind me stated they don't understand why she was being rude and nasty to me, they were even beginning to become very upset with how Kathleen was treating me. The manager came by and I explained to her what happend and the manager began helping me bag all of my groceries and then stated that she was going to coach Kathleen on how she treated me. I was appalled on her stating that she was going to coach her, that's insane that is not considered a coaching and should be treated way more then just that. Ma'am this employee is throwing your customers items across the belt and throwing the receipts in there face and that's a coaching to you? That's insane! I work for a corporate bank and if that was me treating my clients the way that employee treated me I would be gone! That is unacceptable and it's a disgrace that Winco have such people working in that store such as that employee, that was absolutely disgusting and I will never go back to that Winco ever again.

I love this WinCo, it's always clean, the staff is great, and it seems to be the only store I have found so far in the Phoenix area that sells Vanilla Life cereal....... My favorite. So I recommend this store to everyone. And it's open 24/7

Just 30 years ago Phoenix offered 5 distinct large grocery chains, and a few smaller independent ones, now they're all from Boise. This monopolization has greatly reduced service and selection. Winco took longer to get as weak as the others, but I see they've arrived. I just swiped my card for a $90 order, but wanted to get 2 5s for a 10 to buy lottery tickets. The clerk told me that it was company policy not to make change. Naturally I didn't believe that a grocery would not break a 10 for me during my actual food purchase, but when I called the main number in Boise, they confirmed it to be official company policy. We need a quality full-service chain in Phoenix.

I believe that it is kept the way it is and organized the way it is because it is owned by the personnel. This makes a big difference and I tell them every time I'm in that it really looks good. Pride of ownership. Just like owning a home, car.At least for some and that includes myFriends and family.Cashiers are friendly and quick and accurate. Debit card payment makes a huge difference. No fumbling around.Hope your day was a great one!!!

How long will it take you guys to realize that you need to hire twice the amount of cashiers than what you currently have?It used to be, I would come and every once in a while, I’d wait a bunch before getting checked out. Completely understandable. Now, it’s every single time and it’s getting progressively worse.Wake up and figure out a resolution. When it takes me longer to wait in the checkout line than it does to actually shop in your giant store, it’s obvious there’s a problem.

I went to the Winco store on 3rd Ave and Bell. I always go to this location. Great prices and employees but today was different. They had Arm&Hammer cheaper then anywhere else. It was $5.68. i got one went the register and check out. I looked at my change and receipt then noticed I was charged $9.91. I went back and spoke with the male cashier he told me to wait and he called for a merchandiser. His name was Mike. He walked to me and there was different prices. He explained that special ingredients in laundry soap cost more. I asked how can exchange this and he said i would have to come back in an hour. Then i asked if there was someone there to help me. He went got a lead person from overnight and he said go to the register and we can did it there. Great! Got to the register with a woman cashier and told her what happened. She said with attitude i have to get someone over here because i don’t know how to do it. So the lead overnight came and told her what to do. i was fine with the service until the lead opened the laundry soap to see if it was used(which i felt embarrassed ) i told him i didn’t leave and go home. I do all my grocery shopping here and to have this happen to me is not good. I would like to thank Mike for his help.

As a tourist visiting Phoenix, I was highly impressed with the selection and quality of items in the store! I highly recommend shopping here and will be on the lookout to stop by these grocery stores anytime I’m staying near one.

First time at Winco, and a 16 pack of eggs are like 2.50 cents, I was speechless but anyways the store is somewhat clean, organized, employees are nice and yea definitely recommend going here rather than walmart or whole foods.
