Don’t move here. Everything is always broken, elevator never works. Gate breaks every week. Fire alarm testing goes off without warning. I signed up for the 7 month lease promotion, somehow i’m stuck on a 12 month lease. Over priced. Just overall not worth it to live here.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am giving my honest opinion and have not been paid or promised any favors by Skyline as others have. Skyline honestly needs to be investigated by local housing authorities. The apartment is old and dirty, half of the appliances do not work, and the leasing team will argue with you about any and everything. Colin is extremely disrespectful and the team is very rude. They will overcharge you to live in unit with bugs and loud neighbors, and when you try to leave they will overcharge you again. They do not believe in abiding by AZ law and think they can overcharge because they’re in Downtown. It’s atrocious. Please stay away from this place. Do not fall for the 5 stars paid reviews.

I moved in this past June and I love living here! It's in the perfect downtown location: downtown but the block is actually quiet. Everything fun is in walking distance. Neighbors are great! Every time I have guests they are absolutely obsessed with the loft! It isn't super high end like the surrounding high rises but I didn't mind because I've always wanted to live in a loft! And you can't beat the price for the downtown location. 10/10 recommend

Kudos to Jefte, Justo, and Robert for making my experience at Skyline a very good one.Jefte and Justo from maintenance can fix just about anything. Both are super skilled and provide fantastic customer service.Robert from the office always makes people feel right at home. The phrase ‘Customer Centric’ was invented to describe him. I always enjoy talking to him when we cross paths around the complex. These three guys set the customer service bar very high at Skyline Lofts.

Jesus, in the leasing office, helped me with my concerns immediately and was extremely helpful. He was kind and efficient. After coming from a different apartment complex with not the best leasing office staff, it is a great change at Skyline Lofts with genuine and accommodating staff!

Location: Great spot to be in downtown phoenix. Perfect for college students or young professionals.Amenities: I've seen some reviews about how there's a tradeoff here, but you get everything and it's all functional.Maintenance: They have a really fast turn around from when an issue is submitted. The maintenance staff has been nothing but kind + professional.Office Staff: Brianne and Jesus went above and beyond by delivering a package directly to my apartment while I was out of town for the weekend. They were very helpful during move in as well. It's clear the staff wants Skyline to be a good place to live.Rooms: I really like the concrete, high ceilings, and after two months still have not heard a peep through the walls.Parking: Feel safe leaving my car there.

Brianne in the front office made my move in process so easy during a stressful time. I really appreciate the entire office staff and maintenance team for working with me so well and efficient when I need something. Brianne brings a warm presence to the experience of living here with all the events she throws for the residents. She really goes above and beyond. I recommend skyline lofts to anyone in the phoenix area. Thank you !

I've lived here two months and really enjoy it.As far as living in downtown proper, these are by far the largest apartments for the price, and I would argue it's the best bang for your buck. (When I was looking for places, I found several in Roosevelt Row that would cost the same or more for rent but were less than half or even a third of the size of my current unit. I am not exaggerating.)I ended up at this complex for a few main reasons that I am still quite happy with:- Really big spacey units- Great location- Concrete walls and EXCELLENT soundproofing between units (I had a loud neighbor at my last place - never again!)- In-unit laundry- Good, secure parking situation- Free parking available for guests (pretty rare in downtown Phoenix)I've recommended living here to many friends. Jesus in the leasing office helps me out whenever I have a question or request. All the staff are quite friendly and there are frequently community events that are fun to go to.

Want to give a shout out to Jesus, Brianne, and Darrell for making our move in process go as smooth as possible! Everyone has been kind and helpful. The location is wonderful! Walking distance from everything and across the street from a Saturday farmers market. We’ve only lived here a few weeks, but so far so good ??

We would not wish this experience on our worst enemy. Living here for 2.5 years was not just a mistake, it was a life mistake. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Skyline Lofts and especially the Weidner Apartment Homes companies treated us awfully, we had thousands of dollars of damage to our vehicles for which they took no responsibility, and when we moved out they charged us over $2,200 for normal wear and tear. They put in the cheapest carpet imaginable and we were there for 2.5 years, yet they charged us 80% of the replacement cost for 2 years of use. Even if you pay a pet deposit and pet rent, they will charge you to replace the carpet. They charge you for things, and then charge you again for things, and then charge you again. You will likely pay $400 to repaint your apartment on move-out whether it needs it or not. I will make this review more of a blog over time unless they leave us alone. And, I have the pictures to prove all of this ;-). Look at the reviews below, when you get past the lemmings who are either trying to brown-nose management or earn a referral bonus, you will see the same thing. On move out, they charge you for everything including normal carpet wear and tear.I'll go into the carpet thing for a minute - these carpets are the cheapest rags they can find. Over 2.5 years, a dog, my 8 - 11 year old, and visitors, through normal wear and tear, these carpets show their age. NO ONE would replace this carpet in their home with this type of wear and tear. But, because they need to rent the place again, they charge you for brand new carpet. How about install 5 year carpet if you have a 5 year depreciation schedule? You installed garbage that wouldn't last 1 season in a summer camp and then ask your tenants to pay for it. Also, you could live here for 30 years and when you move out, you're paying 20% of the carpet replacement cost. The depreciation schedule says 5+ years use, you pay 20%. Isn't that a mfer? Notice the trend on these reviews - pay for 80% of carpet after 2 years, pay for paint. What the hell was rent for? These people have no conscience. Check out our move out photos. Would you charge someone $2,200 who left an apartment in such a clean state? Ask yourself, do you want to pay for the refurbishment of the apartment you rent to brand new standards even though you paid rent for 6 - 24 months? Don't be us. Take a stand against corporations like this that abuse their tenants.Oh, and another common thread, once the office staff takes a disliking to you, welcome to holy hell. That is 100% accurate. Excessive towing, notices, and fines. Don't trust the custodial staff, most are nice but a few are thriving in this toxic environment - they'll report everything you say/do to management for brownie points.

Gone down hill fast. Homeless people jump in the pool.. need I say more. Elevators smell like piss (dogs/human). 1 security guard only at night for all the parent company properties around here. The number goes to a machine. Trash piles up in the garage. The stairwells are hardly ever cleaned.2 stars bc they respond to AC maintenance issues fast.

If you are on a budget for DT living and don't want to live in 400 sq ft this might be the place for you. But, know you are going to get issues (Cons) with: homelessness, dog waste, smokers, noise, and understaffed staff.Random observation. With the building opening up across the way the amount of cars flying on Pierce st has gone way up. I know of one person who got hit and it's only a matter of time before others do as well.Pros:The "events" are getting better but have been digital. When the pool is heated (seldom) it is great for the winter, but again they actually sent an email saying that the heater was working but they aren't going to use it do to costs. So know if that is a selling point for you it's optional in their eyes. That turned into a con.. ooops.I think the staff does the best they can but place stays dirty and they can't keep homeless people from entering the gate which is an open secret for anyone living downtown.Renter beware..

ASU college student friendly!! you've found the best apartment community you'll ever find here! I have resided in this community for over 12 months, and everyday you will thank yourself for leasing here. As someone who literally never writes reviews, please take it from me.Community directors Robert Valdez and Colin Dickey are the most honest, wonderful, and kind people you'll meet. Robert is incredibly personable and knows everyone's name, always greeting you with a smile and a warm positive attitude. They are always available/easy to reach for questions; I have never left the leasing office with a bad experience. No difficult administration or hidden fee's like Roosevelt Point (from experience). Both are wonderful examples of what responsible administration and management sound be.Insane views unobstructed by construction. 30 second walk to DTPHX farmers market and 5 minute walk to First Friday's. Also, right next to ASU dtphx campus, you can stop by Fillmore Coffee (attached to the building) on your way to Mercado. The area is incredibly secure, safe, and well light at night. As a young women, I felt extremely safe my entire stay and never observed trespassers or felt threatened. Sometimes, I accidentally left packages out for as long as a week, and they never were stolen. My few minor concerns were addressed immediately and resolved promptly. The community continually demonstrates sense of pride, honor, and respect towards each other.

Great location that has a few of quality retail shops in close proximity. Very accessible parking as well as great scenic views from each exterior point of the community. The staff gave great detail in reference to all of the amenities, the differences between each unit and even the utilities. Most of all, the staff is very polite, patient and communicative. Move in was painless as well. I’m really glad that I chose this community!
