Beautiful park! The saguaro are spectacular. Huge shoutout to Ranger Kira, who helped patch me up after I cut my knee on the trail. She was kind, communicative, and so supportive. Thanks Kira!
Between Phoenix and Tucson just off I-10, historic and beautiful Picacho Peak can be seen in the distance almost beckoning travelers to stop and check out the desert beauty. This Sonoran Desert park is home to some of the best wildflower displays found in Arizona, there are amazing hiking opportunities, and a spacious campground for visitors that would like to extend their stay.
