We used WMAH for our annual goat herd health check and couldn't be happier! Dr. Ben and his team visited our farm and were knowledgeable, efficient, and communicated everything in a timely manner. We recommend!

Sometimes taking your pet to the vet completely sucks. These amazing humans here make it suck less! For routine visits: absolutely amazing from scheduling to seeing the doc. For awful, horrible, worst-day-of-your-life visits, saying goodbye to your best friend that you've ever had and ever will have: still amazing, caring, thoughtful staff from reception to Vet. The techs here are also the kindest humans you could ever place the care of your fur babies with. I can't imagine taking all of my pets anywhere else.

New to area searching for veterinarian for my injured cat. Their next appointment was in four days, or I could pay a $150 "we'll try to work you in" fee. My last veterinarian would do the we'll try to work you in while you wait for free. It can be a mutually beneficial practice for those times an appointment is finished early or a patient is running late. You get a little more income and a happy customer. Semper Gumby. On the other hand, the receptionist was friendly and professional.

I found that everyone there was very professional and didn't waste anytime bringing my dog back for his visit. I used to take my animals here before. But my x would take our pets elsewhere which I didn't agree. It's worth me doing the longer drive where I lknow I'm being treated honestly. Everyone there is very friendly. I'm just glad that I'm back getting my animals seen by people who care and are honest. Thank you for everything White Mountain Animal Hospital.

Great veterinary service! Took my dog in for surgery, and he's doing great now! The only vet I go to!

I brought my husky in as an emergency walk-in. They saw her quickly and were able to pinpoint the problem and treatment. I was impressed by the doctor and office staff. They were very friendly, caring, and professional. I was just passing through the area, but I would not hesitate to go there again should I be in the area.

They did my Shar-Pei’s entropion surgery, I was super nervous because she’s my baby but they took amazing care of her and she healed beautifully. 12/10 best Vet I’ve ever taken my babies to.

Dr Evans took the best care of our husky puppy! We had no idea what was going on with her and we even took her 3 hours from home to try and get her help just to be sent home with no answers. The very next morning, we were told to bring her in and she is now home and doing so much better! This place has been the best to us! Last September, I had to put down my old boy due to untreated diabetes I wasn’t aware of and I was shown compassion and support from the staff here. Thank you all so so much for taking care of our pets and for treating them and us with respect and with love!

In a time of need, they got me in to see them in 15 min and eased the pain of my family. I do not have the words to show how much I appreciate what the did and how everything was handled. I would give them 10 stars. Thank you so much for being there in my family’s time of need and ease the burden of one of the toughest decisions you ever have to make. You all are special people

Let me first say that the people at this place are very kind and sympathetic. They know how to treat people who are hurting because their pets are. That being said the business side is atrocious! We told them it was a broken bone when we called Sunday. They said it would be 750 if we brought him in or 150 if we waited till Monday. So we waited. Again, they knew it was a broken bone, but instead of telling us they don't treat broken bones they charged us 450 dollars for a referral, x-ray,and meds I could have bought over the counter. Telling me what is wrong when I already know does not give us piece of mind. It makes me feel like they used our attachment to our pet to make money. No splints, bone setting, or anything. It is a HOSPITAL that doesn't treat only refers to a place 6 hours away. Not happy!!!

We recently lost of our beloved cat Aggie. The staff was so kind and compassionate. This was a very difficult decision to let Aggie go but the comfort they showed us and Aggie was amazing .A few days later we received a card showing more love and comfort for us. I highly recommend White Mountain Animal Hospital to any pet owner.

This review is a direct result of the unprofessional manner in which, Lacey, the office manager, conducts herself. Before i get started, I do want to say I love the vets at this office. They have seen 4 of my pets. I have seen Dr. Ben, Dr. Ole, and Dr. Evan's- all are wonderful and I appreciate them. This situation has to do with my cat that has a complicated health history due to stomatitis and prior difficulties during dentals. Back in December, I met with Dr. Evans where we decided to go forth with a dental to remove my pet's remaining teeth. I informed him of my pet's prior complications which required a specialists intervention. He reassured me and seemed very confident that they could take great care of my pet. I received a quote of $600 that day (12/27/22) and the appt was booked for February 1st. I had all records from prior vet and dental specialist sent to them, too. On the day of surgery, at drop off I inquired with the tech who was checking me in. The records still had not been reviewed (which was incredibly important because everything pertaining to his complications and pain management were in there) and that was really making me nervous. My pet almost died after his last dental - it was bad. The tech brought in Lacey, who came in to see what was going on. She confirmed medical records had not been reviewed, that our original quote of $600 was wrong, that our appt was scheduled with the wrong doctor and could not be done that day. Her demeanor was unprofessional, uncaring, and she didnt want to bothered with this even though this was their responsibility. She admitted they dropped the ball verbally, but her face was dead pan and she just didnt care. I was very confused. She presented a new quote right then and there of $1300 and offered to keep my cat overnight for surgery with the correct doctor the next day. I expressed that that wasn't feasible because I had money set aside for the original quote of $600, I had to take time off from work, and I'd have to reschedule once I had the rest of the money saved up for the new quote of $1300 that was just newly presented to me. Lacey said that they were busy and needed to go do other stuff, so I left with my pet. On my way home, I called the vet office to speak to Lacey and to have her ask Dr. Evans a question about extending my pet's Atopica script until I could get the new amount of money saved and dental rescheduled. At that moment, she informed me that she will pass that message to Dr. Evans and that their practice is just too busy to see my pet's any further. I asked why and she said we were too much work for them at this time during their expansion of the vet office. I asked if it was just this particular pet because of his complicated history or all of my pets and she said all of my pets. I was really shocked to hear this and I asked her to explain and she just repeated herself. Later that same day, my husband went to go collect our pets med recs, so we could move on with the care of our animals elsewhere. He was greeted by Lacey who was acting completely opposite than during our morning interaction. She was apologizing for things escalating, for which my husband asked "why did things escalate?" And he informed her he had heard EVERYTHING since he had been on the phone with my child during the morning interaction. Her face went serious, she became very quiet, and walked away. My husband left his info to speak with Dr. Ole and he still hasn't received a call back, a week later. I waited to see if we could speak to the owner before posting this, but we never heard back. I've included pics of the quotes. (Condensed review for Google, my full reviews on yelp & their Facebook page)

Can't say enough good things about these guys, honestly. They are too great for words. On our worst days of worrying about our furry babies these guys always seem to make it as good as it can be. I rescue dogs from the reservation & I'll just say I might have one too many (I don't care). These guys never make us feel like we are crazy, irresponsible or in over our heads. They always just want to help. From an expensive ACL surgery to putting our beloved pup down, White Mountain Animal Hospital & all of it's wonderful employees made it as comforting as it could have possibly been. We will never go anywhere else!
