Incorrectly prescribed me a children's dose of asthma medication. When I called to complain, the hospital indicated to me it was the pharmacist's job to catch this.

A man with his parents arrived at the emergency. The man was in unbearable pain kidney stones. The front desk nurse needs to find a new occupation. She asked him to sit in the ER room. The man sat in the ER for over an hour, ended up on the floor crying holding on to his elderly Mother. The poor man got to a point where he got up and started to walk to the hallway looking for a bed. The front desk nurse yelled at him that if he didn’t go sit down she will call security. No damn compassion at all. Then she talked about this guy and what he did near the front counter for all to hear. Shame on her and shame on the hospital for for their lousy rules and employee conduct. This man was delirious with pain. He sure didn’t deserve the service that he received and his parents should receive an apology. Stay far away from this place.

My daughter sees Kelly Marshall for her thyroid and has called the office to get a prescription refilled. The office personnel keep telling us that they are working on writing a new prescription but it's not getting done. She needs that medication. I don't recommend Kelly Marshall for anyone. How hard is it to do what you say you're going to do

First off, they lost my medical records and my New Patients Information packet that was faxed to them. They didn’t return multiple voice mails as I was inquiring about the status of my medical information. I got the worst excuse from the lower level people: “Since I wasn’t “in the system” they threw out my information.” Really?? A new patient packet! Gee, you’d think they might understand that I was a new patient and input the information and return my calls. Nope!! I had to physically stop in and ask about my status. I brought a copy of the New Patient Package. While the office people were genuinely apologetic, and they got me in quickly with Dr R. Forde. It took almost 5 months to get to this point. Then, first thing Dr R Forde says is he doesn’t prescribe certain classes of medications. All my medical info was in the Patient Packet. Why wasn’t I informed of this prior to coming in. I understand Dr R Forde is concerned about liability. But his disregard of my situation left me feeling degraded. From his statements, it appears other patients have left without becoming his patients when they were informed. (See other reviews!)As I was leaving the clinic, I read the Non-discrimination policy at the hospital/clinic. They claim they don’t discriminate based upon disability. My experience me feeling discriminated! Now, to give a little of their side, they are very short staffed. Too much work is falling through the cracks! Regarding non-prescribing, that should be prominently displayed! So the potential patient can make an informed decision prior to any appointment.I know I’ll get a “standard reply” to this review. And one office person has volunteered to investigate my complaints. I’m thankful for that. However, the poor customer service should not be tolerated nor given!

Don’t bother with Dr Forde he did not listen to me at all. I was in Er a couple of weeks prior to seeing Dr Forde. I tried to explain my symptoms and he told me to stop eating meat and dinner. I asked for certain blood work to detect a prior health issue I have had he told me no that he can not do anything for me that the ER didn’t already do and that I’m young and healthy. I have an old injury that has flared up and gotten worse over the last couple of months and I asked that he order an MRI he said no and that I’m too young and my insurance would deny it so I called my insurance and was told it would be covered so thank God I found a Dr who cares and listened to my concerns and ordered the correct test to see what is going on with me.

I went in for a wellness check fully covered by my health insurance. Dr Forde asked if I would like a flu shot. I said ok. He changed the visit to an office visit with out advising me of doing so and that changed the billing code so my insurance did not pay for it all and I ended up having to pay $150. Dr Forde only spent 10 minutes with me and did not even care to have all my concerns listen too. I would recommend seeing a different doctor here then Dr Forde.

Staff was friendly, but every doctor I tried to work with wouldn’t take my concerns seriously. Found a new doctor in a different clinic, who actually listened to how I felt versus test results. I am in awe that this is actually how a doctor/patient relationship should be! As a patient with autoimmune issues who requires ongoing care, I will never, ever go back to this place. I felt like my issues that I live with every day don’t matter to them-I was just another apt/money in their pocket. Good riddance.

Dr. Forde was Absolutely Horrible to me and the Rudiest I ever met! First and last visit. I was trying to explain issues with my thyroid he cut me off and said I don't have time for you to talk I will ask the questions because we are running behind. Wow I was there early it's not my fault he is running behind. Before I got cut off I ask to have blood work to get my thyroid tested. Wow wasted my time to get my blood drawn from him to not give a blood order for a full thyroid panel. Find out when I get my blood work back he only tested for 2. Medical Assistant called me to tell me my thyroid was high and he said go back to the Doctor you were going to for help. Wow apparently he doesn't know what he's doing with the Thyroid! So the next week I saw my gynecologist brought my blood work in and said I was told I am too high I must need to get off the meds she said no they explained this wrong to you the high on this means you need more medication. This office doesn't treat me on my thyroid I just brought my paper work in because I already had an appt. and wanted to see what they had to say

It truly depends on who you have as your doctor and the location to be very honest. I have been with the same location after a long move out of area and also leaving the PV one, because of issue and concerns. Overall my doctor is amazing and truly spends the time needed to help me and my family.

Best M.D. in Prescott Valley at YRMC that we've ever had the honor to take care of our medical needs. He's very thorough and spends time going over your chart and schedules routine tests. So sorry to be losing him effective December 1, 2019. So sad to be losing Dr. Matthew Evans.
