“What I love about The Honeyman grocer: They have a great selection of locally harvest items like HONEY, meat, raw milk and eggs from local sources. There is no better way to support a community than by SUPPORTING A COMMUNITY'S HEALTH by providing FRESH food to eat that is local. They sell staples in pre-measured batches so I can buy up-to what I actually need. There is a variety of rice, legumes, grains, flours dried fruits and nuts - and their own-brand of great and interesting condiments and preserved jar products, too. The way they present these helps me budget and not waste resources we need to live by: FOOD and money. And the quality of these staples is super good. They have a huge variety of herbs for a variety of holistic wellness needs I can add to my cooking as seasoning and spices. They have vitamin supplements, too but that doesn't seem to be their focus...WHICH IS GOOD because there is more real healthy food option. And, I've bought honey from The Honeyman to give as gifts (because honey is a GREAT GIFT that symbolizes LIFE), and their honey is EXCEPTIONAL...and local honey is easy to find here. Their molasses is also great! I really like the ambiance. It's a small community grocer that sells, mostly, ESSENTIAL local dairy, meat (frozen) and honey along with other essential staples needed to live a good healthy life. It's pretty small, but a large space isn't needed for WHAT IS ESSENTIAL. It's not hard to find what is needed to have a healthy diet. There is very very little fresh produce, and what is present is seasonal, local and fresh - which is perfect. The layout is simple, and there is always someone on hand to help find something If I can't find it which I've only had to do once, and it was right in front of me anyway. The service has always been very courteous. They especially like it when you bring back empty egg-cartons and glass Masan jars which is GREAT! This is another way to support a community by keeping costs down through RECYCLING and not waisting resources. I totally value the vision I see of what this local resources provides to its community as a great service that indicates a really strong and responsible community to be a part of, and this kind of store being in our community means HEALTH is important to it. I am so Glad The Honeyman is part of a strong and healthy community.”

Of course, Sprouts is also my favorite grocery store for everyday needs. Best produce, organic, and vegan items are always available.”
