The most caring, professional, best treatment I know of. Our new puppy has Parvo on the 3 day we had him. 1 pound 3 oz. He stayed in hospital for a week. We were taught how to provide home care a now have a remarkable 6 pound playful beautiful dog. They did it all. We received updates every day morn and night during his stay. Yes it did cost but we had the best treatment around. Bless the staff there.

Took my kitty in for check up twice now. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They are very understanding and took their time to listen to our concerns. Everest loves the staff and had a very comforting experience

Our Tammy has a distinguished back neck bone issue. She was in horrible pain shaking and Squealing. We Called them and with in a half hour were there. We new to Dewey area. They got to her issue and gave perfect to us care. We left with two meds. For her. I have read both Yelp and google reviews some good some bad. We strongly recommend Kachina Animal Hospital. Our vet in Yuma charged twice and more on wasted tests although they cured her for three months till now.

Our first time here, we just moved here from CA. We had to let our sweet Lily go, she crossed the rainbow bridge. We were very impressed with they way the Dr and Staff were so compassionate. Which made saying goodbye to our everything, a bit better. The one thing I would say is I wish the cremation was faster. I hate knowing my baby is there waiting to be picked up! Heartbreaking

Dr. Stire and Sativa provided excellent, compassionate care as we said goodbye to our sweet 17 yr old fur baby. They couldn't have done anything more. We are grateful for the care Kachina provided over the past 7 years including boarding, routine veterinary care and even surgery. Highly recommend!

We were able to get an appointment right away for our lab, Sammy, who developed a blood clot in his ear from shaking his head. Dr. Julia Lynn diagnosed ear infections in both ears, probably due to allergies, and treated his ears with a cleaning and a solution pack. I was so impressed with the professional yet caring ability of Katie the Vet Tech who took care of Sammy's treatment. She was very patient, going over the procedures before treatments explaining everything in terms we could understand. Dr. Lynn was very competent and yet understanding as to our concerns with all the possible options. I highly recommend this animal clinic, and they also provide snacks and water outdoors, due to Covid restrictions inside the office area. To our delight, they gave us a senior discount, since we are both over 65!

The best experience! I have an anxious dog that developed a growth beneath her chin. I was weary of taking her to the vet given these trying times but I have to tell you Kachina made it so easy! They were kind, efficient, explained what was going on in terms I could understand and my anxious dog was happy leaving the vet! If you're holding off taking care of your pet during this pandemic - don't because it's easier than drive through going to Kachina!

I agree with other reviewers when they say this place is all about the money. Twice now, they have charged for something that wasn't even part of the visit. Won't take off the charges either! I highly recommend going elsewhere. I did.

I would say go somewhere else. They are way over priced just got my dog fixed for $1000.00 cheaper in Prescott. Wish I never went in to be honest half my bill for the first visit could have went to fixing in Prescott a lot quicker. They get a star because there is no way to put 0. They are all about getting as much out of your wallet as possible. Please get a second opinion and quote from anywhere else before using them.

We had taken both of our little pups (Mattie Sue 13, and Dexter Louise, 6) in for exams and shots a couple of years ago, so they were established patients. Last Thursday, after a very long, awful night, I made the truly tough decision that it was time to keep Mattie (now 15 1/2) from suffering. I couldn't even make the call, I was sobbing so hard, so my husband set up the appointment. They worked us in at 10 am. We were immediately escorted back to a private room where we met with a tech, then the Doc. They explained everything extensively, and gave us some options for testing and possibly care, but I knew we were passed that. They took little Mattie back and placed a catheter in her front leg. We were escorted to a nice compassion room. They brought Mattie to us and I was able to hold and snuggle her as they administered a very fast-acting sedative. After a few more hugs and sobs, they administered the drug that stops the heart (very quickly). As sad as it was, it was very painless for her. We shared a few more snuggles, then were allowed to leave thru a separate entrance so we didn't have to parade thru a crowded waiting room. We had selected a cremation with a her remains to be returned to us in a beautiful wooden box. I picked her up today. The entire staff could not have been kinder or more compassionate. They all made this MOST difficult situation as comforting as is possibly could be, and I applaud each and every one of them. Thank you ALL very much. We will continue taking Miss Dexter there knowing she is getting great care.

Boy am I glad I did not see some of these other reviews before we took our dog to Kachina. We feel like we got outstanding care. Our regular vet did not return my call and I was desperate to get help. Dr Lynn's staff gave us an appt right away, even though we were not an established patient. They were knowledgeable, thorough, and professional but still had time to be kind and thoughtful. We have medical backgrounds and were probably not the easiest clients to deal with under a lot of stress. They answered every question and tried to be flexible. Dr Bason did a wonderful job with somewhat complicated surgery. More conscientious follow-up than I could have wished for. They are expensive but you get outstanding care.

My mini Schnauzer is my heart. I took him to Kachina, and while he had already had his full series of puppy shots, they insisted that even with documentation, they do one more round. At 5 months, when I called to schedule neutering, they quoted their fee...over $500! In addition, they wanted to pull all, and I do mean ALL of his remaining baby teeth. The poor puppy had only just begun to loose teeth. Each tooth was around $80. Needless to say, I did not let them touch him. Yavapai Humane Society has a fabulous clinic for spay/neuter and shots, and did a great job, They didn't touch his teeth either! I am sorry, but any doctor, human or animal, who does unnecessary procedures, is a HACK! Regardless of how nice their office looks in the photos, or how "efficient" they are, doing work just to generate $$$$$$$ is wrong. There are FAR BETTER PLACES TO TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES !
