When we found out my heads were "no good" I was told he'd sell me a "same as" set and install my valve springs on them. The heads I got had smaller valves and cost more than new ones would have. I do not trust him!

I am more than satisfied with Bobby's work. I brought him a set of windsor heads that needed decked and new seats and none the less I am very happy with the work that was done. Bobby also took the time to show me how to do a few things that I wanted to learn how to do! Highly recommended! Will be bringing all my work to him from now on

Bobby Marcum is the biggest crook I’ve ever seen. He absolutely should be ashamed to try and call himself a professional or a business owner. He was paid to build an engine years ago and we have receipts, but he hasn’t delivered. It’s been over a year and a half of calling and stopping by the shop and being told excuse after excuse, and now he’s dodging calls and locking the shop doors when we pull up. I’ve absolutely never experienced this kind of blatant thievery. Short of opening a small claims case, what else can be done except warn others to not give this absolute disgrace of a man your hard earned money? Thousands of dollars gone and not one purchased item delivered. Shameful.

I met Bobby dec. 22nd 2020 paid him a $1,000.00 deposit on a 91 RV I told him was to big for me to drive he could keep it.He then said if you buy it cause it's in perfect working condition & you can live in it along side the shop & he'd hook up water elect & he'd charge me $500.00 a month rent & determine the cost of elect.after I move in?A lie he couldn't get it to start or anything to work on the interior?The guys a crook I should have known his reputation precedes him.Marvin Lienard

The owner screamed in my face. He had my motor for 10 months and never touched it. Very poor service he has been a few lawsuit against him for not returning people's property. Just like he did to me

So he had my boat motor for 10 months. Asked my husband to come and take it apart. He did so we could get the motor faster. Then today I go to get the parts that where on my motor that I took to him. And he told me I had to pay him $2500 for him to clean them!!!!! And guess what my husband is the one that did it! He is a thief and a drug addict

Very sad experience with this mechanic! Took our deposit of $4,000 to build a engine for us and after months and months of contacting him via phone and email and hearing excuses we sent a demand letter in May 2019 canceling the order and asked for a refund. He never responded at all. Too many delays and excuses. Maybe a great mechanic but he is not a man of his word. We are still waiting on our refund. Beware!

Our story is much like the other review. It's been a long 15 months without a product to show for it after handing over a large deposit. Excuse after excuse. Bobby came highly recommended from a trusted friend. Now my husbands health is a factor and a truck's engine on it's last legs. Very sad ending to someone we put our trust in. I'm sure he's a great mechanic but lacks business sense and honesty. Beware!

Might be an excellent machinist , but it took months to get my block back. When it was done he gave me a break on the price originally quoted and said he'd install cam bearings for free. I stopped in twice to get the installation and have been waiting over a month for a call back. I went to ANR and got them done same day. Cost a few bucks but it's done. He might be a good machinist but he's a lousy business man.
