This US Post Office in Prescott Valley is currently under renovation, with service available at a window as the building cannot be entered. The location is described as a small one, with a front office that can accommodate only a few people at a time. Despite the ongoing construction and limited space, many customers report excellent and very good service. Staff members are noted for being understanding, kind, and respectful, often greeting with a smile and offering helpful advice. Employees frequently go above and beyond, handling packages with care and ensuring timely delivery. Specific instances of great help include assisting with returning an unwanted package without cost and accommodating passport applications even when an online appointment did not properly transmit. While some past reviews mentioned poor customer service, recent experiences highlight a significant positive change, with present staff receiving thanks for their kindness and hard work. Some customers suggest that negative reviews may stem from impatience, emphasizing that the employees provide friendly and efficient service under the current constraints.
Went here first week of January, 2025. This location is taped off, with a handwritten sign (not visible from the street and blown over on its side by the wind) stating that the location is closed until further notice.

I was treated poorly and a little older man was charged $120.00 to send a small package by a worker wearing a mask.

I made an appointment online to apply for four passports. For some reason my appointment did not go through to this post office location, even though I verified it. The staff here was more than understanding and was still able to help me apply for the passports. Thank you!
