The community in Prescott is amazing. Not having alot of money to spend and budget and working towards financial freedom by becoming debt free. I've been on a spiritual journey backpacking walking hiking riding greyhounds, trains all over Colorado and Arizona for healing. A lady heard my story when I asked the cashier to hold 2 pairs of boots. For the next day when I get paid. I went back the following day and someone in the store said bless her and Hope's this would help. And paid for my two pairs of boots for me. One of the workers came out and I told him that I've been blessed so much and the help that people gave me to keep my head up and keep pushing forward I needed I got here. Thanks you Dav for helping me out as well. And all the community!!!

This is a classic thrift store -- kinda chaotic inside with tons of stuff fairly well organized by section, but you still need to have patience to explore the areas you're interested. Most importantly: reasonable prices! There are multiple different areas of the store, with the women's section in the front where you enter, and then a huge backroom with men's clothes, furniture, housewares, sporting goods, etc. It seemed like pretty much all the clothes were under $6, which is much appreciated these days when lots of stores are putting crazy prices on things. Everything else seemed to be priced to sell; nothing outlandish. They aren't putting out junky broken stuff -- there's a good selection of lots of different things -- and everything I saw seemed to be in decent shape, though of course, you gotta check yourself. I'll definitely come back to hunt for treasures and to pick up needed things for a deal.

Blankets are wrapped in tape and signs stating not open them. I paid $12 for a blanket that was shredded and torn. Avoid my mistake, ask to inspect the blanket at checkout.

I bought a little stereo for my garage. Label says $35 "Works Great" Itt turns out the radio doesn't work so I brought it back. No refund available i get a store credit. So I don't have the radio and I don't have my money. They have the radio and my money.

They have organized the DAV Thrift Store to my amazement and delight. I don't enjoy having to look through bins to find something. I am now looking forward to going there more often!

New (large clean) "trift" store - with "inventory" changing daily. MUCH nicer than the store on 5th St. ("voted best trift store in Arizona 15 years in a row"). Most clothing items are $3. The selection is larger for women than for men. They also carry furniture, electronics, recreational, and household items. "TRIFT" doesn't stand for anything; it was just a "typo" someone thought funny enough to keep....
