Good selection and friendly staff. Instead of supporting CEO's of large corporations like Goodwill or Value Village, try donating and shopping at the Disabled Vets Thrift Stores or Salvation Army.

The folks who work here are friendly and kind. If you're on a budget check this place out. You can save a good amount compared to some of the more upscale thrift stores in the area and the real upside is every purchase helps our disabled veterans.

Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16 thrift store has been a fixture in the Prescott area since 1950. The proceeds generated by the store not only employs an all veteran staff, but supports several community outreach programs for veterans and their families. The DAV Resource center at 726 W. Gurley is staffed with volunteers to assist with disability claims. We also maintain a hospitality suite at the VA Hospital for veteran families, and provide recreational activities to veterans who are hospital bound in the community living center.
