I just replaced my GPU fan in my laptop and didn't have any special thermal tape for it! the guy said don't worry about it just come on in and it'll take me 2 minutes to put it on! Didn't even charge me and saved me a lot of money also gave me advice on how to go about fixing it over the phone 2 weeks prior!
