“Tony and Rotech set up my oxygen condenser on very short notice after an emergent call from my doc and instructed me on its operation and changing out the cannula tubing. A few things would have been helpful: instruct me about fire hazard with oxygen therapy; not using any lubricants that contain petroleum jelly or oil-based lotions; cleaning cannula before each use with alcohol; placing unit at least 6-12 inches from the wall so it doesn't overheat (he put it right up against the wall); and do not place over heating vent (he put it right over heating vent). Thank goodness for YouTube tutorials. Eventually, I moved the unit to the living room because the noise keeps me up at night, but Rotech provided tubing long enough so I can pull it into the bedroom every night.”
