Sent to Safelite by Liberty Mutual Insurance 2 weeks ago for windshield replacement. Tech told me after work completed at shop: 1. It was ok to drive home now, 2. Leave the blue tape on the windshield for one hour and then remove, 3. Do not wash car for at least 2 days. These instructions were followed exactly. PROBLEMS: 1. after returned home from Safelite as instructed, got text message from Safelite saying it was NOT ok to drive home until 30 minutes LATER than tech had said. 2. 16 hours later, got another text from Safelite saying NOW it was safe to remove tape from windshield that tech had told me to remove 15 hours earlier. 3. Day after service completed, Safelite sent me a satisfaction survey in which I provided all of this information about the tech giving completely wrong instructions!! SURPRISE: 2 weeks and 500 miles after the work completed, 4 INCH L-shape crack at bottom of windshield on driver side. Immediately went to Safelite today for warranty resolution based on defective product and/or installation issue. Safelite refused to take responsibility because there was a small, very superficial 1/8 inch chip next to windshield wiper. A nightmare, ridiculous low-quality product and non-existent, incompetent, unprofessional service from start to finish. Filing complaint with Liberty Mutual Insurance to resolve now. Take your business elsewhere!! MARCH 4 UPDATE: Complaints filed with Safelite Corporate and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for assistance with resolution, Liberty Mutual Insurance assisting with intervention.

I had my windshield replace yesterday and the service was great. I also have camera's that needed to be recalibrate to work properly and it wasn't long after I left the shop, their work was tested. A car pulled out in front of me as I was driving at 40 miles an hour and my car hit the brakes as they were supposed to. I am so grateful to my technician for a job well done and saving me from an accident! Yes people, you can totally trust safelite to do the job correctly!

Great professional friendly service at this Safelite location. I’ve unfortunately had to replace the windshields on my cars due to rock chips. I’ve used this faculty a few times and the results have always been the same, perfect. If your local here in Prescott AZ this is an easy choice for windshield replacement.

Our insurance company, USAA, sent us to Safelite to get a windshield replaced. The first time I arrived, they told me my appt. was for the previous day - but the technician had told me that day wasn’t available and scheduled me for the day I arrived. The 2nd time - there was a large crack in the new glass. The 3rd time, the bracket was apparently wrong and they couldn’t do the calibration - this was discovered after sitting there for 2 hours! So now, I keep getting warning beeps, my digital speedometer doesn’t work, the anti-collision doesn’t work, the constant warnings are a huge distraction while driving, and they have to order another glass and it will be a week before it can be installed. We want to trade the car in, and can’t do it until the windshield is replaced. Plus, my husband is a 100% disabled veteran and I am his full time caregiver and don’t have the time to sit for hours waiting for shoddy incompetent work. I have zero confidence they can get it right the 4th time. This is their fault and they should make our repair a priority. If we have an accident due to an uncalibrated installed windshield, we will be suing the company. In addition, we are filing a formal complaint with USAA against this company.

In and out in about 2 hours - efficient and radar calibrated. The new windshield is perfectly installed. Excellent communications and superb service.

This company will drive you crazy. They refuse to have a human being answer the phone. All of their phone numbers get redirected to a computer answering system that is useless. Especially if you have a problem with a past service.The worst part is when the computer automated answering system is unable to address the reason for calling, it disconnects the call.Bottom line if you want to talk to a human being about your auto glass do not use this service, ever!

Jose was my tech on my Toyota Corolla, yesterday very polite young man! Went through ever detail! I can't say enough about how good he was! If I ever need another window replaced I would ask for him!

Website assured they would contact my insurance to arrange a windshield claim. On day of service, got a call that service was setup as cash to be paid by me. Service call was cancelled & never heard from them again. Disappointing.Went with a local installer instead.

My technician Jordan was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He came to my house and was done in a timely manner. Would recommend him and safelite to anyone in the tri city area

I was very impressed with the care and attention to detail that I received, for example my cracked windshield had a service sticker in the upper left corner and the technician took the time to remove that sticker and place it in the same location on my new windshield.

I went in for warranty work on a broken windshield. The guy immediately calls me a liar and tries to deny my warranty claim (a nationwide warranty by the way). Eventually he called the old shop and found out that I wasn’t lying. Is it safelite’s policy to assume every warranty claim is fraud?And no, you did not meet my expectations not to be called a liar.

The service was good, very good communication via text about their services. I don't think they used a good quality on my windshield replacement. My replacement broke less than a month after it was replaced. When I bought my car used, the windshield had a few chips, it last over 4 years with the same chips. New windshield lasted a month, one single small chip made a huge crack right away. Would not use again.
