Love coming here. Smaller than the other safeway way but still gets the job done. Has everything you will need as any other safeway. Doesn't have a butcher or seafood person on deck like the other one, but makes up for it by having self check out stands which makes checking out easier than other location. Good job guys.

Just went in to get something for lunch later, on my way to work. Not a single cashier was open. 2 employees standing at "do it yourself checkout cuz we are lazy employees". I was informed to use self checkout. I already have a job, and Safeway cashier isn't my job. I handed the employee my potential purchase and said no thanks and walked out. I will drive to Fry's from now on....where I don't have to ring up purchase MYSELF.
If we ring it up ourselves, there should be a discount.

It isn't about Safeway they are awesome but I was in town tonight to pick up groceries for my husband's Father's Day dinner..he always rides to town with me just to get out of the house..my husband is blind and so therefore we had a handicap placard...about a month ago someone actually stole my review mirror out of my car along with my placard!! Tonight I parked handicapped like I automatically do..my husband decides to stay in the car while I run in and get the things I need. I rush thru the store to get things come out and as I'm loading my groceries into my car this woman( and I use this term hesitantly) stops at the back of my car to make a point of the fact I do not had handicapped tags..as I tried to explain I had a placard but it was stolen ALONG WITH MY REARVIEW MIRROR!! She looks at me with disdain and says mmmmhmmm that's what they all say!! ..now I am not in the habit of being rude but quite honestly I told her where she could put her opinion!! The point I'm trying to make is let's be nicer out there people..no need to judge and in this case this "person" made an assumption and was rude and extremely disrespectful (and it didn't even affect her) for no other reason than to be nasty. It's the neighborhood tho ...not the store!

What a joke this place is. Always low on stock, over-priced on all their stuff and they charge a 6% fee for a gift-card, which is way higher than the standard fee. I will never shop their again!!!

Normal grocery store. Clean nice people well stocked which they could just make it so the deals are just give to you with no card or coupon from internet or something.

2 Stars - Primary issue - state of the deli
This Safeway is one of the older grocery stores in the area. Been around a long time. So it appears a little tired and worn, but this is *not* why the stars are low, it's an observation for folks looking for info on the store.
Employees are usually friendly and I have had one go above and beyond when I needed help and something had no shelf label. Really impressive.
Stopped recently to get things for a large group picnic - needed to grab some last minute things. Found what I needed and it was on sale. Tasty 7 layer dip in the fridge case by the deli, potato salad from same case by the deli (and it was FANTASTIC potato salad). Got what I needed and got the things at a decent price.
While I was shopping, I perused the deli counter to see what the prices and availability was for things for the picnic. After glancing at a couple items, I had to walk away. It was horrendous. The majority of the food stuffs, for purchase by the pound offered in the glass case had clearly been there too long. Nearly everything was dry and crusted - discolored where the air had been in contact with the air too long. It wasn't one or two things of mayonnaise base - it was MOST of the dishes of food available. It was stunning.
I considered taking photos and couldn't even stand there looking at it to do so.
So - yes this is a fine Safeway for your regular shopping, but I would tell everyone to steer clear of the deli - it could not have looked more like a case of spoiling, old salad varieties. It was Health Dept review worthy with how many of the things looked unsafe to eat.

Today, at this Safeway deli, a young man behind the counter named Cam K. made me the best sandwich I've ever had in my 39 years on this planet. Someone needs to give him a raise, a bonus, a promotion -- anything and everything to recognize this fine artist's true skill in sandwichery. I may never be able to enjoy another sandwich again. Thank you, Lord Cam, for changing my life.

I have to concur with all the one-star ratings for Safeway at White Spar in Prescott, Arizona. Earlier this year in 2023 a manager named Johnny was the best employee at this store...always friendly and happy to assist customers...he must have been transferred and we're stuck some fat, angry, rude older women (i'm older too but have a positive attitude) who are always chatting with one another ignoring customers and when someone finally gets their attention for assistance they're are rude, so this store needs a major shakeup in how to treat customers in the self-checkout, If they hate their jobs that much, quit! There are two younger women in their teens or early 20's who are very efficient and very nice.
