The team at Summit have done a beautiful job bringing my 91YJ back to life! They were very communicative knowledgeable and always friendly. They also did an excellent job at staying within budget. When it's time to put more work into my jeep I will certainly be returning to the experts at Summit.

Summit 4X4 is amazing!!! We needed our Jeep built out for a filming trip and they took the time to understand exactly what we needed, spec out the exact products we needed, install them professionally and quickly, and they also spent over an hour showing me (a newbie to off-roading) how to use everything. I can't say enough great things about Summit 4X4!!! Great People, Great Products, and Great Community!!!

First, let me say that I appreciate that car repair is difficult. Translating a customer comment or complaint into a correct diagnosis, and an accompanying repair is not easy, even with today’s onboard computer diagnostics.
Summit 4x4 bailed me out from an expensive error performed by another repair shop, hereafter referred to as Shop 1. I took my Jeep into Shop 1 with a request to evaluate an apparent down shift lack of power and often a clunk when the vehicle down shifted under high load (such as up a long grade at highway speeds). Shop 1 identified wear in the pinion shaft and too much backlash in the ring and pinion assembly as the culprit. I had Shop 1 replace the ring and pinion, and while doing so, they informed my the spider gears in the locker were bad. They said spider gears were available, but delivery was an unknown, so they recommended replacement of the entire carrier. This was getting very expensive, but I told them to proceed with the repair anyway.
After several weeks, I got the Jeep back. After driving it on the street for about a week, I decided to take it off road and check the lockers. The lockers did not work. It turns out there was an air leak at the differential.
Several of the conversations I had with Shop 1 during the repair process, and now the air leak, led me to take the Jeep to Summit 4x4 for evaluation. The summary, after a lot of evaluation, was that Shop 1 had never checked the locker, the locker had been damaged during install, and the ring and pinion gears had also been installed incorrectly and were exhibiting vastly excessive wear. Summit contacted Shop 1, and negotiated for Summit to do the appropriate repair work, as a warranty repair, covered by Shop 1 . Summit replaced the locker carrier and installed a new ring and pinion. They also tested the locker and drove tested the Jeep to verify operation.
Upon getting it home this time, the Jeep runs much quieter, the clunking appears to be gone, and the locker works correctly. Is Summit perfect? No. Are there areas where Summit could use improvement? Sure. Are they inexpensive? No, but they are reasonable. They know Jeeps, and perhaps more importantly, they understand the vehicle, and the modifications that are often made to the vehicle.

Excellent service and very reasonable pricing for refilling my 10# Co2 tank for airing up tires. Lee, at the sales counter, and the service tech who refilled the tank were both very helpful and accommodating, giving me useful information to manage my tank and processing the work order on short notice. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Jesse Wail, the owner of Summit 4X4, has his heart in Summit 4X4. He hires the best people he can find and does everything he can to promote success. I've been out of the area for a while but when I returned I came to Summit 4X4 to have some complex issues resolved. Thanks Jesse and crew.

I made an appointment for an oil change for my 2016 JKUR. Very efficient and was out of there very quickly. I’ve been very happy with their service over the two years I’ve been using them.

I am absolutely so grateful for the care and attention to detail that the team at Summit 4x4 put in to my Jeep. The team really worked with me every step of the way to make sure I got the best value and results. I am in love with how this turned out. The guys are making dreams come true at Summit!!
For example...the gen IV LS they put in is so well tuned that I smoked a Camaro off the green light yesterday and boy is that a hell of a good time :)

i live on a ranch with nasty dirt roads and had issues with stiff suspension of my Chevy 2500 crew cab long bed. Inco tacted Summit and spoke with Craig who recommended a new adjustable suspension. I agreed and his techs found the results of my nasty dirt road and saw a few steering components that were in bad shape and sent me pics of the issues. I allowed the repairs and also lirchased new rims and tires for a better-than-stock look. Craig communicated often with me on the progress. When i went to pick it up the owner Jesse came out and even took it for another test drive after the techs. I cant tell you how much i alpreciated the fact that they have a QC person(s) to check the work. So many other shops fail at that. My truck looks awesome and the nasty dirt road is not as bad now with a new adjustable suspension.

Everyone at Summit 4x4 knows their stuff. I had a complete lift installed along with high end ball joints and front steering linkage. They worked with me to make sure the Gladiator was properly aligned and drove to the best standards, with communication every step of the way. The mechanical workmanship is first class, and their customer service top notch! I feel lucky we have this shop in town. If you need something Jeep related, don't hesitate to stop in and speak with anyone there - you'll be glad you did.
