Great help from postal workers at the Miller Valley Post Office. They should be rewarded with more pay and more help. I always receive good advice from them.

5 stars for Passport service with Rycci. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable in helping us square away the requirements to obtain a passport for our newborn. We were nervous at first since we had to bring our two little girls, but Rycci was very accommodating and put us at ease. Passport requirements on the DOS website are confusing, but Rycci guided us expertly throughout each step. We just had to make sure we brought the required documents and application.
As for general mail service, most of the postmasters are kind and knowledgeable. I have two recommendations for this location:
1. Being able to talk to an actual human being when calling rather than go through a layered robot tree and still not get the answer I needed. This is probably a higher corporate policy, but in case if it is not.
2. There should be signs guiding foot traffic:
-sign for picking up mail (that wasn't able to be delivered to
front door due to size, etc)
-sign for general waiting line for postal services
-sign for passport services
* I have been here enough to know how it works, but for anyone new I believe it would be beneficial. I remember I waited for 20 minutes to turn in the pink slip to receive my mail, but then I was redirected to the end lane as I was in the wrong waiting line.

Requested a box for our new build two months ago. Nothing. Not even a follow up phone call.
We had to call down to Phoenix to register our address in the USPS system, what Prescott USPS initially said they were going to do but after two weeks, hadn't started.
That was weeks ago and all they have to do is assign us a mailbox (one of the cluster boxes) for our street. They even said it would be simple and that they would call us back shortly. After several follow-ups in the past weeks, still nothing has been done.
Update: Was there AGAIN today. 4th time in two months. Again, the only guy with answers, Bronson, isn't there. Again, they don't have a box assigned for my address. The place was trashed with packages out and open where a thief could easily take one.
Update: Just got a phone call a guy, telling me that they are just now starting what will likely be a 6 month process. When asked why they didn't start the process 2 months ago when I engaged with them. He said they've been doing stuff. I asked why, over two months, didn't we at least get a call back or follow up. He said he wasn't here a month ago.
These guys seem to be the epitome of why the USPS is failing.

I ordered bugs for my reptiles. The carrier delivered to my mailbox. Note the package said live bugs. Not the front door which they normally deliver too. All the bugs were dead. Just lost $40 due to the postoffices incompetence

The phone automated system refuses to transfer me to a live representative even after it acknowledges that I want to speak to a live representative... Who has ever called a business to speak to a robot? If you cannot give me the decency that I deserve as a human. I won't pay into your cooperation! If that isn't clear enough.... Your robot system can go get bent! It doesn't know what it's doing but it's great at complicating customers lives! Thank God your convenience is worth everyone else's struggles!
