Came here looking for something. I rode my bike into town because it was easier than driving my RV that day. Had my small backpack on and some woman near the door rudely tells me (didn't ask) that I have to leave my backpack at the front. I'm pretty sure I look nothing like a vagrant wanting to steal your second hand junk. Use a little common sense when dealing with the public and learn how to address people respectfully

Went to check my mail at Moon Mountain mail next door and their parking lot was full so I pulled in to the Salvation Army lot since it was closed anyway. (It's just a large dirt and gravel parking lot) A woman who works for Salvation Army is standing in the lot and tells me I can't park there because it's private property. An argument ensued and some balding gentleman starts yelling and cursing at me telling me to move or he's going to call 911 which he actually did. Over me wanting to park in your lot simply to check me mail at your neighboring business. What kind of miserable people are running your thrift store?? Is this why you're hardly ever open because you're running everyone off with your pathetic attitudes? Some sort of immature rivalry going on with your neighboring businesses? Really pretty and pathetic

I truly love my Quartzsite AZ Salvation Army thrift store. We are a small town out in the middle of nowhere, and services are hard to come by. The staff is so very helpful. I’ve been able to borrow a pair of crutches for a month when I couldn’t put any weight on my leg. No charge….just a small refundable deposit. I live full time there and this summer, when it really got hot not only could I get a bottle of cold water when I cam through the door, I was given a summer “survival bag”. It had a huge sun hat, sun screen and lip screen, a couple of bottles of water, a towel to wet and put around my neck, and a mister water bottle. It was so very welcome, as my trailer gets pretty hot in the summer so I was constantly using the towel and misting myself with water. I am so very grateful they are here to help folks out. And every time I really need something, I go into the store and there it is!!! Many blessings are to be had at our local SA thrift shop❤️❤️❤️With much love, Rebecca Marler

This has been my favorite thrift store in Quartzsite for years. It’s always been clean, organized and has great prices. My husband and I started volunteering there in the summer of 2022 and must say I’m so impressed with the excellent way the store is managed by Lee-Ann and the other volunteers are just wonderful.

Been in once this season. 100° outside , you're killing people slowly by requiring a stupid mask. Can't breath normal with those unnecessary masks and the heat!!! Get off your high horse lady! Nobody requires them anymore!!!

Didn't make it past the front door because of the mask policy. I haven't been somewhere that requires masks in over a year. I'll come back when the policy is changed.

There is no mask mandate in Arizona. Nobody wore them correctly in there either, including employees. No thanks, how disappointing!

I’ve found some good deals and a gem or two here. But the employees are so miserable to interact with and come across almost combative from the start. Last experience was so bad. The cash register also doesn’t print, so there’s no way to see what you were even charged for each item.
