I just moved out here from Sacramento and I was lucky enough to receive a welcome gift certificate for half off services. I chose a pedicure and I am sooooo happy I got mine done by Robin today...she was outstanding and such a wonderful lady!!! I'll never go anywhere else for pedis while I'm in Arizona! I went to this place to get a manicure for my Quinceñera . I went November 22nd and they fell off November 24th and they were closed November 25th, the day of my Quinceñera. I had to use stick ons from fry’s just because they couldn’t their job right. The service was HORRIBLE I will never be coming here again , it was extremely unprofessional and my acrylics fell off very easily. The lady kept telling me she was new and I understand that but she was unprofessional, she kept asking me to check the time on my phone, she told me I had crooked fingers and SHE CUT MY FINGER WITH A FILE. I don’t recommend coming here and getting a job done like this.Services: Acrylic nails

First and last time. I sat there in silence as the lady doing my hair did not listen to what I wanted. She asked if I liked the color at the end, and I said yes even though I hated it. She did not speak to me the entire time, made me wait for 35 minutes while my color sat on my head while she was on her phone in the back.She charged me a lot for the mere minutes she worked on my hair. Not worth the money. I tip well, but should have left her nothing. Now I have to find someone to fix my hair and wait in embarrassment until I have time. Will never go back.Service: Hairstyling

I do not recommend this salon!!! Worse haircut I’ve ever had!! I called to speak to the owner about my cut. The receptionist/ manager told me she’s busy with clients from the time they open till the time they close. She said I can take your number but I don’t know when or if she can call back. Long story short; I was told I could come back on Tuesday and a stylist could look at my hair but wouldn’t have time to fix it.This did not make sense to me. I did get an appointment in two weeks with a different stylist. That’s a long wait to walk around with chopped up hair. Poor customer service and expensive.Service: Hairstyling

Left my hair dark even though I asked them not to. Called to let them know and asked for them to call me. No answer, unwanted black hair ?I also asked for a quote prior to coming in, at no time did they tell me there were extra charges on top of the price. I just needed an all over color, price was 40$ more than what I was quoted.Service: Hairstyling

We have both used the salon in the past they do great work but today’s experience was in our opinion unethical. My mother went in there today to get highlights and she was quoted on the phone $60 for partial highlights when she made the appointment. When she got there today she again asked how much it would be, they told her again $60. When it was time to pay her total came out to $100. Understandably, my mom was upset and asked why the extra $40. They told her it was because they had to use a toner. At no time did they inform her prior to using the toner that it was gonna cost her an extra $40. That is not the type of surprise that you should get at the end of a service. We’ve had highlights done in several other salons and they’ve never priced out the toner as a separate charge before but regardless of that, a customer should be informed before they’re going to be charged an additional $40. This would’ve given my mom the opportunity to either accept or refuse the charge/service instead of being surprised at the end of the session. She doesn’t want me to give a one star review because she believes that the stylist was very professional and good at what she did but she’s incredibly disappointed with management and will not be going back. Worst experience at a salon in my life. For reference, I have a lot of long fine hair, which does tangle more than other hair types, but I've never found it unmanageable, and neither has any other stylist I've had in my life. I came in for highlights and a cut, which is what I've gotten every time I get my hair done for at least ten years. Jamie didn't brush through my hair before starting my highlights, and then ripped through my wet hair with a brush, starting at the top of my head! I thought starting the brush at the bottom of the hair (especially long hair) was day one of beauty school! I saw another reviewer comment something similar, and I'm shocked that she hasn't been fired. I was literally gripping my seat handles she was brushing so hard. At the end, she had the gall to say that my hair "really needed a cut" as if that explains away how rough she was! The haircut and overall color was meh, I'm just grateful to have not lost too much hair in the process. The only reason I gave this place a two was that the person working the front desk was understanding and gave me a discounted service, and my mom had her hair done beautifully by Debbie. I went in for a hairstyle for my daughters dance COMPETITION, I showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted, and got nothing even remotely close to what was requested as well I was charged an astronomical price for a “special occasion” what I requested was two Dutch braids into a ponytail, I was charged $55. The first pictures were taken immediately after leaving the salon. Our instructor looked at her hair said it was unacceptable, it was a safety hazard as the ponytail was so loose it could hit her in the eyes when she turned, we took the braids down and I had to French braid them myself. The last photo is the photo shown to the stylist, I might add very little hairspray was used and that was the only product she used to hold.

This was only my third pedicure ever. I booked it at Juliennes because I wanted to treat myself to a relaxing, spa pedicure after having a really bad year losing my husband and I was willing to pay for a lovely experience. Well, it was not. I was taken to a weird room with colosseum style bench seating?? There were 3 stations of foot baths. I was to step up and sit on a bench with pillows. In order to work on my feet, I had to put my feet on the side of the sink furthest from me which meant I had to balance my heels on a rolled up towel?? My thighs were sore days later after having held them up for an hour. Have no idea how a short person could do it? As the tech trimmed my nails, she shook the clippings on the floor, of which I had to walk on on my way out, ewe! The room wasn't very clean either. This pedicure was expensive!! It was $50 plus tip but it was not relaxing... will not go there again.
