Called around places to find a "confident" mechanic to repair a stripped oil pan. Tanner on the phone at San Tan Motorsports seemed extremely confident they could do it. I asked if they've done them before and he said all the time. I ended up choosing them for the repair. Afterwards when I brought it home and it sat overnight... I noticed it was leaking a lot more oil now. I brought it back a week later on a Monday morning to see if they could take a look and see what they could do. I was immediately met with some attitude from Tanner saying "What do you expect us to do?" I said I just wanted them to take a look (maybe we could try a different bolt or something simple) and he said I might need a whole new oil pan. My response was along the lines of "I thought you guys were confident in doing these repairs, when I called around you said it was no problem. I also asked them do to a timesert and they did a helicoil." Tanners response was "We don't have that tool and you know what, I don't want to deal with this right now, just leave" as he pointed to the door. I repeated this is why I called, and if you guys didn't have the tool or weren't confident why didn't you call me? Tanner lied and said I spoke to the mechanic, when in fact the only person I've spoken to is his worthless ass. He said they could do a new oil pan and I said I wouldn't want them to do anything more... his response "Well why are you here then?" - Because most businesses will at least try to do something for you when they do not do a good job (sayings it's not leaking when it is leaking worse for example). So much for using a small and local shop... at a larger place you can't act like this and would be fired. What do I want you to do about it Tanner at San Tan Motorsports (his words)? Well first off, as a paying customer, I expect that you at least treat me with a little respect. Just because you woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, doesn't mean you can have little man syndrome and be a complete ass. Secondly, telling me to take it to the dealer after you've bad mouthed "Ride Now" calling it "Ride Later" is laughable... San Tan Motorsports is apparently where you go to achieve the shittiest customer service as well as repairs that do not work. A true "Ride Later" repair shop. I never leave reviews, but I've also never been so shocked by such bad customer service so I have to. Save yourself the time and money dealing with these clowns.

This shop is excellent! Tanner and the crew helped me out big time for repairing my Kawasaki ninja. It was affordable and great service. My ninja rides excellent and it’s back again getting more excellent work done again. They originally fixed my dirt bikes and now they are fixing my motorcycle thanks guys. Keep up the great service.

This is the very first time we have used San Tan Motorsports. I can’t yet speak for their quality of work. However, when we dropped off our quad we were told “expect about a week”. A week and a half later no call from them so we called. We were told no more than another week. WE had to ask what our pricing looked like. They never even advised what they would be charging us after looking it over and ordering parts. Again no call! Another week passes and we call again. They advise they are waiting on a part and will have it done for us by Saturday (this was on Tuesday) at the latest. Here I am the following Tuesday (another week later), 3 weeks total now and still no word from them. As far as their communication and customer service go I am more than disappointed. I sure hope their work is 10x +++ better than their communication and customer service.

I took my son's Yamaha R3 in for an oil change and after picking up the bike I realized that the oil had not in fact been changed. I was charged $102.90 fraudulently, and no service was rendered. What a rip-off. I know that times are hard, but these guys are straight crooks (San Tan Motorsports). I took a picture of the oil's coloration for my records and forwarded a copy to Matt via text and email. He failed to respond.I called them to inquire about the situation to request a refund, and even sent them pictures of the black oil (seen through the level window), and Matt said the technician told my son that you could not get every single drop of the oil out during the oil change so it would still appear to be black even after adding the Full Synthetic (Gold) oil. This conversation never happened as I was present for both the drop-off and pick up of the bike. Not to mention that's an odd thing to say. After I questioned his comment and asked to speak to Chris the owner, Matt proceeded to call me "ridiculous" and hung up on me 3 times. He refused to take my call and I am out $102.90 of my hard earned money. I guess they need it more than I do.After picking up the bike from San Tan Motorsports, I then took the bike in for a chain service to Reparto Veloce, and without disclosing the oil change incident (were San Tan Motorsports ripped us off), Reparto called me right away to say that the oil was in bad condition, low and needed to be changed. I authorized the service, and now the oil's coloration and levels are now good. A complete contrast from San Tan Motorsports.A word of caution...I wouldn't recommend doing business with them at all. They have been dishonest, non-responsive, and condescending. A poor recipe for being in business. If Matt worked for me, I will get him customer service training of some kind. Clearly, he lacks it, and I would tie his pay to performance and customer retention. To Matt it's okay for the owner to lose customers because he still collects his paycheck regardless. What has this world come to?

Matt was very helpful. They did work on my 2006 roadstar 1700cc motorcycle. The prices were very fair, work was excellent. I'll be using this local shop for my needs.

From carb kits, jets, and oil filters, too complete engine rebuilds. Eric, the owner can handle the job. Strait shooter and no bs. As for those bitching about his labor rates, all I can say is you can always get the parts and fix it yourself. Since I have been alive, never has the cost of having fun been cheap. STMS has done me fair, and is the only place my bikes go. Thanks Eric, my bike is scary fast and a handful of fun. Total adrenaline rush for sure!!!!!
