Chase Bank in general is a good institution. But the local branch in Safford cannot seem to keep their ATMs working. Every month I have to deposit a couple of small checks, but end up going inside and having to stand in line because their ATMS in the drive thru, the one out front and the one inside the bank are inoperative. Not everyone wants to use their cell phone to deposit checks or trust that process. Apparently this small town branch of a big bank is not important to their corporate folks. Our other choices are a credit union, a bank too small to handle our needs or the remaining corpse of Washington Federal, so we are stuck with a poorly supported Chase Bank branch.

Love this bank! They have helped with getting us bank bags, using the new automatic deposit machine, always cheerful and helpful, helped with foreign currency questions and we are in and out in a flash! The app is great and they will even help with tech questions if you have them (about the app).

Really poor customer service. Went in to see a banker about adding my husband to my account. There was about 3 people ahead of me. Waited a good 20 minutes before the banker came out from behind her desk. She went down the list and let people know she was not going to see them and they needed to come back another day. I heard her rudely tell a customer to go to another place for a notary. She soon realized it had to be the bank and she would take care of him really fast. She then spoke with the customer ahead of me. She was basically yelling at her telling her to go to another bank, or have the teller try to call someone to check the status of a check. She even stated how she was part of the management team and their policy didn't allow her do what the customer was asking. The customer would try to explain and the banker would just cut her off. Not a very good example of their so called management team. She was very rude and rushed the customer. As though she had no compassion for any of the customers that were waiting quite a while to speak with her. The other lady left looking very upset. She finally came to me asked me what I needed as soon as I started to say before I could even get another word out she said she can't do anything for me today because was now 6 and they are closed. She went on to say she was alone and had to fix an account with a customer. It didn't matter that I was already waited 20 minutes and I got off work early just to run into the bank to get things done. I was a little disappointed but it was the way she handled herself that made me even more frustrated. I get maybe she was overwhelmed but the rudeness and the rushing. I'm very disappointed with this location. They should really speak to their "management team" about customer service.
