We hadn't had good luck with groomers since we started wintering in Green Valley, and we tried a lot. I was very pleasantly surprised today when Niki took care of our little guy. To be fair, other times we had our dogs both bathed and trimmed and today we just went with the bath (and nails). Trimming is where issues have often occurred. But the attitude of staff and cleanliness of the salon have often been subpar elsewhere, and that was far from the case today. I give Niki two thumbs up for her kindness and understanding. We will definitely be back, and if all our experiences are as good as today, we have finally found our new groomer.

We recently went to Petco shopping for dog food. We needed to know which products were the best for our four year old chocolate lab. The people working there were very helpful, and we were able to feel confident that we were making the best choice for our dog. After reading articles about the importance of certain nutrients that dogs require daily we felt the food she was eating wasn't the best choice. We definitely recommend Petco.

Do not get your dog groomed here, that staff are very unfriendly and very rude. My dog doesn't like to be out in a kennel so we booked a early appointment. We got there and they worker said he needs to be kenneled. We said we booked this apps for that. Then she did the friendly smell and she pulled my dog from behind very aggressive and my dog showed teeth that's when she forced us out. She was talking very weird also like she was coming down from meth.

When I attempted to purchase an item with a different price listed online I was told I would have to order it online or for customer pickup to get the price. I was able to go same day to Petsmart where the same item was regularly listed at the same price as Petco's sale. Guess where I'll be going in the future?

We brought our two male, four-year-old Maltese in to Petco in green valley Arizona today to be groomed and bathed. We received a phone call after we dropped them off from the groomer indicating that the one dog had several mattes and would they be able to cut the mats out. I expressed my concern that Maltese response to having their hair shaved is not good as they retreat. I also asked that they keep the hair around the faces. When we picked the dogs up a few hours later, both dogs had been mostly shaved down to their bare skin. Their heads were completely shaved up to the edges of their ears to the point where we don't even recognize our two dogs. They are now acting lethargic and non-responsive. We placed pajamas on the dogs to keep them warm and hide their bare skin. We honestly can't believe anyone would do this to a sweet, small dog. We are so disappointed in the outcome. These dogs had a few mattes. We bath and brush our dogs regularly. There is no excuse for completely shaving them.

Went to this Petco to buy a specific item on sale, it was sitting on the counter, my husband was like cool youhave one, I would like to get it. The clerk said you can't it is the last one and I am buying it. What? Wow, great service so my husband left and said he will not be going back there. We used to spend $100s a month for all our foster dogs, there has been a change in management good thing Petsmart is across the street.

We adopted TWO puppies! Matt is our trainer. We are in week 3 puppy class/ 6. Matt is confident, kind, patient, with excellant training. Our puppies are learning quick!

My one year old Shih Tzu is a VERY DIFFICULT dog to groom. I struggle with showers and cutting his hair (which we've done a horrible job since he keeps trying to run away the entire time). He's been returned from groomers because he doesn't let them do anything so that's why we resorted to cutting his hair on our own. Finally I just decided to take him in after months and months of debating and spending hours on Yelp to see who has the best reviews. I was afraid that he might be treated bad because he's uncooperative. APRIL was amazing. She was super sweet and she gave me the run down of the grooming experience when I picked him up. He's pretty much shaved which is what I wanted since he was matted. Once his hair starts to grow then I'll continue with a set grooming schedule with April.

A huge variety of just about everything you would want for your pet. Very clean and laid out by what kind of pet you have and what you are looking for. Prices are about what you'd expect for a big chain store. I was able to find the perfect spiked coller for my toy dog lol. I also got a few treat's for him. I stop by from time to time and see what else I can get to spoil my bundle of joy.

We took our two dogs to Petco today for their monthly vaccination clinic. We got there at 12:30 when it was supposed to begin, but the vet team hadn't arrived yet. Apparently everyone who was supposed to staff the traveling clinic called out so they sent a team from San Diego. The team was an hour and a half late. There were about 6 or 7 dogs ahead of us in line, so by the time we left we had been there for 3 hours. Petco did give everyone in line 50% off the vaccinations, a bag of dog treats, and distributed bottled water and packages of crackers for the pet owners. It was a nice consolation, but I wonder if canceling the clinic may have been better. Of course, we could have left, but they kept saying the vets were on their way. Advice to anyone using this service: call ahead to confirm the vet is on time and see how long the line is.
