Do not go here. My lease buyout came with unnecessary add-ons, a $300 price bump, incomplete paperwork, and 3 weeks later, an unprofessional call claiming they hadn’t processed my registration and needed another $300 already in my contract. After reading other reviews, I see my experience wasn’t unique. Double-check every number, fee, and document before you sign. Better yet, avoid this place altogether.

This May, while at Scottsdale Auto Nation for service on our 2019 Subaru Forester Touring we met Eve in the Sales department. She was very cordial, and gave us an estimate for trading in our Forester.
Fast forward to July, we decided to give our 2019 Forester to our daughter who has medical problems and purchase our 5th Subaru Forester which is the only kind of car we’ll own and we feel safe in it. Once again we choose Scottsdale Auto Nation Subaru and Eve was our salesperson. Tracy in mgmt, researched & found the color & model we were looking for & Eve went and picked it up. The finance warranty department was also very helpful.
Everyone involved went the extra mile.

I brought my 2016 Forester XT in for an oil change and an alignment on Aug 9th, 2025. The bottom line - Jeff Sivertson was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was honest, transparent, and he honored the pricing (reduced it actually) that I was quoted over the phone by a different service adviser. My overall experience was very pleasant and I highly recommend working with Jeff. He is an awesome dude.
I was also delighted that I was able to get an appointment for such a busy Saturday just two days prior! I've had so many unsavory experiences at different dealerships that I generally service my vehicles at independent car shops. I'll be keeping AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale on my short list of places to go. This dealership is definitely worth a visit.

Maintenance at Scottsdale Subaru AutoNation is a breeze. Make an appointment, they are 0n-time and efficient. Waiting room is clean and comfortable with coffee, water, etc. Employees are pleasant.

Mike and Joel are the only people I trust, they are always super helpful and are a wealth of knowledge! I had a great experience! I was a service walk-in and Stuart was terrific. He's very knowlegeable and personable, and took care of my car right away, kept in touch throughout the day with updates and made the whole process easy and efficient. I will definitely go there with any future Subaru issues!

My experience with James Taylor was singular in my car buying experience. I always felt served as the customer, that he had my best interests in mind, and he provided everything I needed to make an informed decision and the best choice for myself and my family. He was patient, friendly, engaging, and trustworthy. Prior to coming to Subaru Scottsdale I had 95% decided to buy a Grand Highlander. A few things changed my mind. Consumer Reports ranked Subaru number one, the quality, styling, and drivability of the car, and the contrast with the sales experience I had experienced at Toyota. I left Subaru with a new Ascent.

Just moved in from out of state, had done a bit of traveling and my car was in need of the 30K service and some oil change. It was late in the evening, figured I’d just go in to schedule a service appt for the next day and see if they had any loaners… this was at 6 almost 7? Stuart looked as though he was on his way out but he made sure to just help me get checked in and situated with the loaner and everything. My car is running so much better than when I brought it in. Great service and great people. Thank you Stuart!

do not prepay maintenance services when you buy a subaru. i did and it cost me dearly because they would not warn you that you have paid for services that you really don't need (6,000 miles) and that your prepaid agreement expires after 3 year which means you will not get to 24,000 miles and you will pay for that one twice! Autonation dealer would not accommodate any deals after recognizing that this makes no sense since most us don't drive so much anymore due to WFH. I have 2 subaru crosstrek and won't jave a thirs subaru because of this $600 rip off.

This review is for the entire team at AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale. But I especially want to recognize Hannah Proud. Hannah is "the perfect" Subaru sales person in my opinon. She lives and breathes Subaru, is an outdoor person, and offers the low pressure sales approach that I appreciate. The new facility is also impressive - definitely my Subaru source in the future.
